I voted before I saw pics. I like blackout, but your amount of chrome is tolerable and not obnoxious. I don’t think it’s worth the hassle for you

If you had painted bumpers and door handles, I would say black out the grill and badges, but in your case I'd just stick with the chrome.

I seen a laramie eco diesel with a sport hood and nice a/t style tires. Looked so shape. Wish I would've snapped a pic.

So I'd leave the chrome and if you can swing it find a sport hood.

Thank you for your valuable input, Just looking for suggestions because I can’t decide lol. I was leaning towards vinyl wrap but I have no experience with it.

You could wrap in black and be ok, and you could try to match the granite crystal, and you will get close, but not an exact match ... There are etching primers ... You can paint chrome bumpers without issue, if you can find a shop that is familiar with the materials and the process ... I did it on my 2000 Dakota

not a fan of chrome... I even went with black lug nuts (but my truck color is black) personally I'd black it out

As some have said, swapping out the chrome grill insert for the black honeycomb adds a lot to the look (or black plasti-dip on the inserts). Since my truck already kinda had a blackout theme going with the wheels and badges, I swapped the grill inserts. My wife rolled her eyes when the inserts showed up but agreed after install that it looked better.

I’ve been looking at used car part websites and the cheapest I can find those inserts is like $200 which seems absolutely ridiculous to me. Anybody got a lead?

Here is what I did. I bought a new unpainted sport grille with honeycomb inserts on Ebay at about $177. After swapping out the inserts, I ended up selling my Big Horn chrome horizontal grille inserts and the unpainted sport grille surround separately and ended up making a little bit more than what I actually spent on the new grille.
