I have a question about the PC that I haven't seen anything mentioned about in any of the many threads.

I'm curious how it works when using cruise control? I'm wondering if the PC is too sensitive when the cruise demands a little more throttle, like when going up an incline. Is it smooth like the factory throttle, or does it jerk? I'm not sure on the DBW system if the cruise actually moves the throttle... if not, than it shouldn't make any difference in cruise operation.

I found an older version (non bluetooth) one complete for $100.00 and trying to decide if I should give it a try.

Hey Jeff.
I Beleive the pc only bumps up the input via pedal. The cruise as far as I'm aware is a separate system Which does not use any imput through the pedal but directly to the throttle body it's self.

As Brandon said the PC doesn't do anything for cruise, it's only changes input for the the pedal itself.

And yeah snap that bad boy up for $100!!!

Thanks for the information guys.

I went over to buy it and it turned out to be the newer version with Bluetooth,

I bought it for the $100.00

I installed it this afternoon. I found it easier to just remove the two 10mm nuts to get to the wiring. I can't get under a dash like I could when I was younger. lol

Only drove 12 miles today... to and from work.

I initially set it at Sport +2 and drove to work. The throttle response was unreal.

I set it at Sport 0 and drove home. Throttle response was still really nice, but slightly less than the +2 setting.

I'm going to keep playing with different settings to find my sweet spot. If gas was under $2.00 per gallon I'd probably just go crazy with it, but I can only assume that the higher settings are going to use more fuel?

I'm going to have to get used to not pushing the gas pedal so hard to get up to speed in normal day to day driving. That should help keep the mpg in the normal range?

The truck definitely "feels" like it has more power... much easier to get up to speed with the PC. ;)

Almost forgot... I'm sure I'll have to put it at the stock setting in the winter when we have snow/ice on the roads. lol

Cruise control and a pedal commander. Love both of them and have never had a jarring acceleration with the cruise control in use

I tried City +3 on the way to work... better than stock, but still spun the tires on the freeway entrance ramp. lol

I turned it down to City 0 on the way home... felt like the factory should have put it for anyone to be able to drive and feel the power the Hemi makes.

I'm going to keep playing with it and find my "sweet spot".

I have a question for anyone that tows with the PC. 2 weeks from today I'm heading down to Tennessee and Kentucky to pick up my race truck and do some drag racing. I'll be towing my race truck back to Minnesota and wondering what settings you have used when towing?

Race truck and open trailer comes in at 4500 pounds, plus I'll have about 200 pounds of gear in the bed.

It does take awhile to find the right setting on the PC but you will find it, just takes some trial and error.

I keep mine on straight City. I'm custom tuned so any more than that and I smoke the tires everywhere. Back in April I towed my camper from MA to Florida and I left the PC on straight City. I had planned to turn it off completely when we left but completely forgot about it until about halfway home. At that point i was used to towing with it on City so I just left it. My camper is about 4000lbs FWIW.

I spent some time to figure it out with my v6 but I eventually settled on Sport -2 was as high as Sport + 2 but felt it was too jumpy. Good questions about CC. I used CC for about 200 miles last month coming back from LA on I5 and as others have said the PC has no effect on the Accel Decel or Resume that I could tell. Best $300 (or less) you will spend on your truck in my opinion.

Ha yeah well thats coupled with a custom tune that already has some extra throttle response. Sport+ +4 is almost scary, like I feel something is going to break lol

Oh I like that! I have the 25% throttle with the diablo and I don't feel that much difference. That would definately put a smile on my face. So off the line it goes like a ***** ape?
