damn that is "Chinyy"The 3gcustomz half engine covers are all done and installed. I noticed the Hemi orange covers didn’t match the orange Vararam at all so I decided to paint it to match. The driver’s side was kind of a pain to get into position with everything that’s on that side.
If anyone here orders a set for their Ram and paints them or has them painted, I highly recommend you wrap them in bubble wrap or something similar for the install. Otherwise, you stand a good chance of scraping the paint. (especially on the driver’s side) The bubble wrap will pull off easily once they’re in place. I used painters tape to hold the wrap on because it’s easy to tear off.
You can barely see the driver’s side cover but it’s there.
I degreased & pressure washed the engine bay before I installed the covers and made sure to clean out the Vararam real good before while I was in there. The Outerwears pre-filter is doing an awesome job at protecting the air filter. Great product.
Before:
You can see the obvious difference in color here. This was a test fit and also the exact moment I decided to paint the Vararam lid.
After: The kid looks slightly lighter but that’s because the covers aren’t getting the same light exposure.

Please excuse any misspelled or out of place words, I have an iPhone and it hates me.

Just did another Redline 5w-30 oil change...I just really hope I meet one of the engine designers some time...effing oil filter location. No matter what I do, ziplock bag, aluminum foil oil slide, I get oil all over....It is just plain stupid.
What part of Maryland are you in? I’m originally from Southern Md, relocated to SC in Jan.
