Just posting factual information man, would hate for someone to buy this thinking it was a great solution based on a members recommendation, just to damage their cylinder walls.

So kapt any word on the MPG changing in your truck since the fix?
I forgot to post this didn't I? Seems to hold better around town. On the highway no change. So I guess it's a little better. This is all going by the average reading on the dash

Yea I've actually been able to hold 24-26 and I drive mostly freeway unless I'm picking up my kids and going to the grocery store. But I cant complain now used this diesel fuel and it jumped up about 3mpgs

I never thought the Republik of Kalifornia would let you use something that has the word "Peformance" in it? :)

Scheduled to have mine done on 28th of May. Sort of did some "testing" while out driving day before yesterday.

Around here, Low Country of South Carolina (Charleston area), the roads are pretty flat and level with only VERY gentle hills. With the construction and such going on on I26, the speed limits vary from 60 to 70 and back again within miles of each other. Instantaneous mileage was approximately 29 to 27 MPG at 60 MPH, about 27 to 26 MPG at 70, and we won't mention that it was somewhere around 23 to 24 MPG at 80 MPH. The temperature was right at 90 degrees and the humidity was about 50% (yes, those two reading DO matter as well!)

Tuesday or Wednesday, I will go out and see if I notice any change in the "instantaneous" mileage. NOT really expecting any noticeable difference because of all the other variables involved, but won't mind seeing a sustained 30 if one does pop up in there.

Still nothing. 10 days, already scheduled and had the fix and they still cannot tell me if they have everything they need. No clue about status of the paperwork or where I stand and I would like to sell my truck but am afraid to in case something isnt right or they need more 'proof' or lost something, etc. Maybe FCA can approve a little OT? Heading into a major holiday weekend, wont hear anything now until at least mid next week and probably longer. Ridiculous that they set up 'teams' and have a hotline where no one can answer literally any of my questions about this process and cannot even tell me whether they have what they need or not.

It didn't do as well today on the mileage. That being said, due to Bay Area stupid traffic, I literally idled for like 16 miles today. Still not bad though. 22.8 on the average

I saw the ad for all this on Facebook, so I asked about how long it will take and got this reply

EcoDiesel Emissions Settlement Administrator The earliest possible time for payments to begin is approximately six weeks from the Court’s orders granting final approval of the Class Action Agreement, which was May 3rd. Defendants will pay eligible claims on a rolling basis as they are received and approved and offers are accepted by Class Members.

Once your claim is submitted, including all required documentation, you will be notified whether your claim is complete. If your claim is deficient, you will receive instructions concerning how to resolve any deficiency. Once your claim and documents are complete and you are determined to be eligible, you will receive an offer letter and release form that you must sign, notarize, and return. Once the offer package is accepted, you will be able to schedule your Approved Emissions Modification at a Fiat Chrysler Authorized Dealer (for Eligible Owners and Eligible Lessees), or your payment will be processed (for Eligible Former Owners and Eligible Former Lessees).

Please visit www.EcoDieselSettlement.com for more information.

May 28, a day that shall live in awe and shock! One hour and 30 minutes (NINETY minutes) was all that it took for the local dealer (Rick Hendrick JCDR, North Charleston, SC) to accomplish the emissions recall - and that was from when the door rolled open as I drove in until I drove off the lot.

(Tiny RANT: FCA, PLEASE give us back the ability of our air suspension to AUTOMATICALLY return to the ENTRY/EXIT level when the truck is turned off!! Okay, rant over.) Anyway, the only difference I noticed when I drove my truck home was that I had to step up higher into it because someone had test driven it (How do I know? The air suspension automatically raises the truck to the "normal" (non-areo) height when it gets above 20 mph - AND does not return it to the ENTRY/EXIT height (thus the rant above))

Oh, and the seat had not been put back to where I keep it. But that one is beside the point. NOTHING seemed to have changed except that I now have a "extended" warranty and am now greedily holding out my hand to get the check. Still have to fill out the claim and copy the required papers.

Mine got done in about the same time frame. They said it was gooing to take much longer. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out and said it was finished

Something seems odd about y'alls recall repair time frame. I took mine in this morning and was asking about specifics. They stated the update included a regen which would take two hours alone.

They told me the same thing. They did that, and updated the shifter knob in much less time than anticipated

If they said it's gonna take an hour and it took 2 everyone would be up in arms. Think about it, this is new to dealers just as it is us. So instead of empty promises they plan for the unknown. I was given a loaner and left my truck for the day. It is what it is. These are all pretty big 1st world problems imo. Could always be worse, you could be in a Ford. I got out of an ecoboost for this ram. You think this debacle is a mess try dealing with FoMoCo. Guess it depends on how your dealer is staffed.
