We do have a custom rear bypass set up for the 09-18 Ram 1500s. We developed a custom tube layout and valving for this specific rear suspension.
The front OE kings can go a bit more extended but actually do not use all of the collapsed lenght. The rear end will bottom out on the rear bump stop before the shock fully collapses. Our spec rear bypass is a 28.75" / 18.55". As for the extended length you can't really go any more due to the pinion angle. You can possibly push it another 1/4 to 1/2" but would most likely run into drive line issues. We have these spec bypasses in stock. They run $1699 for the pair.
If you have your rear sway bar you would want and extended sway bar link as well since the factory one would not allow the suspension to droop out far enough.
We do not have any sort of kit for the hydraulic bump stops. We could have something custom built but would need the vehicle in order to do it.

I'll wait to get the new springs first and make sure I like them, set the trackbar if needed , check to see if need control arms etc and I think I'll pull the trigger on those bypasses but I'll check to see if they will give me a discount.Not in a rush but I think this would be my new rear setup.

To bad no one offers simple bolt on bump stops for these trucks. A design similar to the bump cans ICON uses for the 4runners would be awesome.

I may change some of my plans as i research more about the bypasses, External bypasses definetely seem best for performance and are great for a race application but the dude from DK mentioned the bypasses may be a little loud for a DD. I'll have anothe email chat with him tomorrow about King internal bypasses instead.

Found this video to have an idea of the beautiful sound bypasses can make. I don't mind paying a little more for performance but it'll be fair to say that i don't think i can take the noise for more than 2 days in a row...., i can only imagine the wife and kids asking me what that heck is up with the clunk clunk.

Seriously the performance on this external bypasses may be great and for what i'm reading you want them if you're into racing your rig on the dirt, however being honest with my build the noise will be for much for me considering my build is not full race. I'm sure if i had a full race rig i'll be more than happy to go back to my smooth sounding RAM truck after one day of racing the other one at the trail

I sent Nick from DK a question this morning regarding a suggestion he made for me yesterday about using King Internal bypass shocks instead of going with their King external bypasses. This was his response

The compression adjusters are nice since they help prevent the shock from hydraulic due to the high amount of force the IBP piston creates. They also allow you to fine tune the set up to suit your driving and terrain. Performance wise they are definitely below the bypasses but there is no noise.

Correct. One appears longer by a smidge like it was the case with Icon, probably just machine tolerances when they were being cut. Like Icon they don’t appear side specific.
Icon in comparison are 19.5” long.

Got the springs installed. They're so damn long i had to compress them about 1.5" to fit them in. even with the trackbar disconnected drooping the axel in full won't unsettled them lol. I could have tried to loose the rear control arms but i didn't want to mess with them. Other than that they drive just like the Icons so the ride is plush. They got me around 1 3/8-1.5" lift rear went to 41.5", i'll imagine that will be 42.5" if i didn't have any weight in the back.I'm expecting they will settle some with miles. Axel is centered so i didn't have to bother adjusting the trackbar.

Haven't decided yet if i'll do IBP's or normal smooth body Kings 2.5 foor the back, the more i read about the IBP's the the more i'm inclined to think having regular shocks with an external hyd bumpstop is still what i'd prefer to have. the needle to push the IBP and the size of the IBP is space that won't get the same amout of oil, I think with Kings i'll have go with a 3.0 body shock to compensate, then the issue with tuning the valving with the knobs. i've had CDC before with Icon and was excited to play with them for a week after that i never touched them again.

I have a couple of phone calls to make tomorrow then i'll take a more informed decision.
If anybody needs low mileage 27" extended Kings 2.5 with piggyback let me know. Ill have them for sale once i get the new ones in. I'll sell them for about $700.

Summit racing prompted a message saying they should ship by July 9th when I added them to the cart last night. Seemed like a longer timeframe than I'd expect.

I seem to recall a similar message. I think they do it because they don't have the item in stock as the coils ship from Superlift, I placed my order Jun 09, and then Jun 11 Summit did send me a confirmation they coils were shipped from the manufactuer, from there it took another 5 days or so because the weekend was in the middle.

Kinda what I figured but it's worth asking. I'm gonna order these up tonight. Have the thuren nut kit coming. Package from JB1 just got here so it's time to go see my goodiesssss

There are others but i typically order from Amazon or Summit since i have accounts with them already so less crap to type and validate
