I believe so yes.

It's hard because truck is 2 hours away from me. My plan is to take it off at work and leave it at work while I go look at it and trade in. I hate for it not to work. It's a nice camper shell with roof rack.

This is the truck I'm looking to buy. I looked the picture carefully and I see where the cab is slanted on the crew cab while its straight up on my quad cab. 8ddd5f144911e823962523c0722dda9a.jpg

This is my truck.

That is a beautiful truck you’re looking at. I honestly think the gap will be off just based on what I’ve seen from going the opposite way. With that said, maybe it’ll be acceptable to you. Worst case, if you don’t like the fit, sell yours privately and find another used one that will fit correctly. If you can’t find a used bright silver you’ll be looking at $5-700 for a paint job. I bought mine used and did just that.

So wait a minute. My cap will sit closer to the cab or farther away. I cant see it by looking at your two pictures you showed me. I'm trying to see which part of the cap will be closer. Top or bottom portions

If you’re putting the quad cap on the crew. The gap at the top should be further away from truck. I think the bottom will line up pretty darn close.

I really hope so. I'm really hopeful for this truck. Has everything I need in a truck.

Going from a quad cab topper and putting that topper n a crew cab will end up with a larger gap at the top of the crew cab. the quad cab topper truck bed has a rather curved angle to the bed itself, against the truck cab boy. once it reaches the top of the bed rails of the quad cab, the topper no longer continues along that curved lien and is much more verticle. to match up with the styling of the wuad cabs rear window and roof.

However, the new crew cab will continue along that curved line and your old quad topper, on the new crew cab truck, will not match up with and be further away, at the top fo the truck cab and topper, the gap will be lareger than at the bottom down by the bed rails.

In another words, it will work fine but leave a bigger gap all around by the cab? As long it's not hitting the cab, I'm fine with it.

yes. correct gap, right at top of bed rail, then they cab will go away from the topper, as it progresses upwards.

My OCD would simply not allow me to do this .....I would sell the topper from the QC and patiently wait to find a topper for the CC

Good luck with the purchase of the new truck - either this truck or the right truck for you.
