Helping a neighbor out to install Core arms in his 16 1500 crew cab, The specs i have from the forum are 200 ft/lbs for the rear lowers, and 120 for the uppers ? He'll have to go out an buy a torque wrench for 200 ft/lbs if those are the correct specs :)

I’m assuming this is done already according to the Haynes guide for my 2012 the rear control arm bolts/nuts are to be torqued to 225ft-lb

Thanks a lot guys yep it’s done. I did hit them frackers with an impact wrench, but I’ll tell the dude to check the torque tomorrow, he’ll have to buy a torque wrench.

I maxed my wrench out at like 180. Unless that wrench is long enough you'll need arms and legs to get 200+ ftlbs :D

Even with my big torque wrench I didn't have a wrench long enough for leverage on the other side and I was starting to run outa space down there lol. Hit em with the impact on full blast and they're still on there ...

Don't some parts stores have a "Loan a wrench" program? If so, no sense in buying one unless he have lots of cash laying around. A quick call to Spence at Core would have gotten the info to him a lot faster probably.

Nothing wrong with renting or getting a free loaner tool from the local auto parts, but I really dont like to rent tools that require calibration, that's all I need is to snap a bolt off while trying to save $57
