The race truck is the most appropriate choice, I can't argue with you there. I'm conflicted at the moment. That hood was actually my final exterior mod I wanted to finish off the aggressive look I was working on for my crew cab.

But, swapping out the S&B on the ST for a Vararam on the pavement grinder vs. the sander/mudder makes much more sense!

The RK is more functional plus it dumps the air right on ur intake..... I have an air raid system it just sucks it all up. Coming from a sports hood with similar set up.

Sounds like you need to buy a 2nd one.......LOL

Lol, yeah, I do need another one. They aren't cheap. Scored it for $360 bucks. You know me by now, I'm patient and wait for the deals. That's how I get all this **** done and keep my wife happy! The finale of my long planned agenda is to add a 2500 Cummins to my collection. And a Challenger, but that will be her car, so that's an easy one. I'm in safe territory still and will be when I cross the finish line. I'll be buying that brake and rotor kit from you soon though!

I am assuming not much. Kinda new to this fast truck stuff, always had lifted, so I got a lot to learn. This is more of a looking good factor for me. Whipple and new tranny on my ST is my ultimate plan to make it move from 13 sec on the 1/4 mile to whatever is going to happen!

Its both actually I luv the look and the bonus is the functionality like mid September to October just after summer all that cold air that comes in make it scream one u drop that pedal.

Nice! I got 170 tstat in the ST. That damn thing always feels like it is running on that cold start, even when it's 100 degrees out. Super punchy at all times, so assuming I am probably not going to feel a difference.

Personally, I love the sleek look of the ST like you have it, great looking truck. Clean lines. There is the point to consider in opposition that on the CC the hood may not get as much “appreciation” due to its altitude...either way, you know its going to look great...

Yeah, only the scoop will really be visible on the CC and the vents not so much. I am moving the ST to more of an aggressive look as well. In fact, working on a trade deal right now to get rid of the SRT's for some 24" Hellcats. SRT's are awesome and can be hard to get your hands on, but have a conservative look. I think the hood may end up on the ST. Makes the most sense when I look at all the considerations, the scale tips in that direction.

I almost mentioned the Hellcat Replicas would look great on it. Like @heefageLA set...
Is the ST cammed?

Prior owner built the truck. He did not mention it was cammed.

This what he gave me for performance mods:

*Intake: S&B 75-5106
*Exhaust: Magnaflow
*Tips: 5" something???
*Electric exhaust cutout
*Headers:
American Racing long tubes
*Tuner: Diablo Trinity, 93 Octane Jay Greene Tune
*Catch Can: Billet Technology
*TB: Fastman 82mm with Airaid TB spacer
*Thermostat: 170
*Clutch Fan Delete
*ATI Underdrive Pulley
*Manifold:
Modern Muscle ported intake
*Eddie Performance 3400 torque stall converter
*Gary Williams Valve Body

Jay Greene would know if he tuned it, but Im pretty sure that wouldve been the first item on the list of performance upgrades from the owner. While you have the hood off....HaHa! Just kidding

I keep the prior owner up to date on what I'm doing to the truck. Snapped him a pic of the hood last night. He just messaged back a few minutes ago and said, "all you need is cams now". So, not cammed. Lol.

Now that I have this thing home, I can clearly see swapping out my S&B for the Vararam is not the way to go. Not that I bought it for that reason anyway, but thought there was another opening on the underside near the front.

I asked the guy why he was selling and said he was getting a 3500. He had a black sport with same paint code as my trucks. If his buddy doesn't buy it and he trades it in, he is willing to make a swap deal on his sport hood for one of my hoods. Now that would be just perfect!

Yeah this hood is def not for the Vavaram intake system because of location of air dump.
