I replaced the front sway bar end links with MOOG problem solver greaseable end links. I also have a set for the rear but didn’t have enough time yesterday to get it all done with everything else I had to do. I’ll get the rear done on Tuesday when I’m off work.

I took Frankenram into the dealer yesterday morning for the last oil change & tire rotation in my service contract. The express lane tech said I need new front upper ball joints on both sides. When I asked him why, he said “The boots are ripped on both of them.” Weird... those are brand new upper control arms & ball joints from ready lift. (Not even a year old)

When I got home, I jacked it up and pulled the wheels... they’re fine. Just like I knew they were. I loaded them up with fresh grease and started on the end links. Not today, express lane tech... not today.

Replaced the Icon 1.5" springs with Superlift 2" springs, came to know per another thread the SLF-140 springs can support 5" shocks so i decided to jump on them to try longer King shocks.

This is with 300lbs extra i carry in bed permanently.
Before with the Icons, 39 1/5 front, 40.5" rear

After with the SLF-140 springs, 39.5" front, 41.5" rear. They'll prob settle down to 41", perhaps 40 3/4", for some may not be a lot, but i'm more interested in offroad performance, i'll be going from 27" extended shocks to 29.5" extended shocks at pretty much the same height. perfect for what i do with the truck.

Bummer. what year truck and how many miles?

16 bighorn v6. 28k miles. I suspect it's the rear end backlash. It only does it without load while decelerating. I imagine the dealer tech should know this or listen with it on the rack.

Welp adviser called today and says it's either the valve body or trans. My main concern is them properly filling the transmission. If it's the valve body.

I've actually put 33 in mine...still have the receipt to prove it! How we got to the gas station, I'll never know!

Yeah I’ve know the feeling. Sometimes I push it too far lol. I just hate gas stations, filling up and especially the Costco line ups. Now I got around 7AM and all the pylons are either on their way to work or home [emoji18]

Gotta be careful at some stations. The OTW stations have a tendency of not pumping a full gallon but charge for it. It’s a big thing here and the comptroller is battling it as hard as he can.
I’ve tested several in my area with a gallon milk jug. Then I’ll put it in my mower if it’s not right I’ll raise hell with them then call the weights and measures folks at the comptrollers office. Jus be careful.

Is it that much of an issue down there ? Doesn’t the gas just stop when tank full? I don’t get how those scams work.... does it just skim a couple bucks here and there? You figure if it was blatant it would be noticeable.

It’s not noticeable when the pumps are running full speed which is supposed to be at 12-15 gallon per min.
Gotta remember that Texas is a huge state. It happens in your area too. It’s not advertised in the news outlets anywhere so it doesn’t hurt to check for yourself to be positive that your not being cheated out of your money by not getting what you pay for.
I buy 75% of my gas from Exxon/Mobile and the rest from Murphy’s.
It’s the most accurate pumps I’ve found.

Picked my truck up today. I now have ice cold AC!

The tech showed me the suction line and the condenser. He showed me the areas that had what looked like corrosion or something, one little area on each part. He said that's where it was slightly leaking freon from. He said to be glad it was under warranty... cause that freon is extremely expensive, not to mention the other parts and labor. He said that they've seen a bunch of the newer model trucks with low miles having the same problem. Also said that they've found quite a few come from the factory low on freon.

5 minutes after getting the truck home the PC was reinstalled. lol
