Ran over some unmarked, brand new wet white paint on the highway that splattered all over my wheel wells, rocker panels, and step bars. Any ideas on how to remove it without damaging the matte black parts and clear coat parts? This is on a 2018 PW, Mojave Sand model with 2000 miles on it. Pretty pissed at the state road crew right now....

That sucks man!
I feel your pain.
I had a Detonator Yellow 2008 Ram that got spattered with road tar and it was a ***** to get off!
Goo Gone applied liberally...
IDK what would work on road paint cause that stuff is made to stick...

WD 40 is pretty amazing. I worked for the Red Cross repairing equipment and volunteered at a computer refurb place. we used wd 40 to remove stickers and other stubborn materials. I would be very careful with nail polish remover. it is meant to remove enamel after all. Not sure how safe it is on paint. There are non acetone nail polish removers that are gentler. And make sure its washed after.

A fiend of mine works in a body shop at my Ram dealership and told me nail polish remover is what they use.

More good ideas! Have not had the time to try anything yet, but I'll post the outcome.

So far..tried WD-40.. didn't even phase that road paint. Next was Hercules hand wipes, have them at work and they remove aircraft grade seal so figured why not try it? Works great after letting whatever is in them soak in for about 30 seconds then rub vigorously. Soak down REAL good with water or it softens the paint on the bumper. Doesn't seem to affect the flat black plastic factory fender flares. Haven't worked up the nerve to try the wipes on the shiny paint parts yet, afraid it going to eat through the clear coat.

Put Vaseline on the road paint and let it sit overnight. Pressure wash off the next day.
