Is anyone running this? Was thinking about getting one for my 2018. Any issues? Notable gains?

The ones for the 6.4 have been hit or miss. Honestly until they work things out a bit more I would stay clear for now. I do recommend a Pedal Commander. I have one on my Power Wagon and love it. Throttle response is awesome and being able to adjust it as needed is a nice bonus. Plus the truck feels much faster.

Also might want to check this solo muffler delete pipe out to make it sound as good as it looks!

Good info. Ive been doing a little research and found it has been a hit or miss. Couple questions for ya
With the pedal commander, what would be a good setting for towing a 3000lbs boat at hwy speeds and what would be a good setting for normal city driving to and from work?
With the muffler delete, how loud is it? I used to have a 99 f150 with straight pipes and it was tolerable and more of a lower tone. Will I be annoyed at hwy speeds? Ive been trying to get my muffler off and am having issues. Ive loosened both clamps and can get it to slide on the pre muffler side, but cant get it to fully disconnect. Any advice with removal?

Thank you for the help!!!!

For the PC it kind of varies for each person but sport 1 or 2 are the most popular for daily driving. For towing I would bump it down to city 2 or 3.

the delete will still retain the large resonator which is more like a small muffler. So its not too loud while cruising and at idle but gets rowdy at WOT.

For removal loosen the front clamp on the muffler. then spray soapy water on all hangers from the muffler all the way back to the tail pipe. Take the rubber hangers off that are on the muffler section. Then spray some penetrating oil on the 2 slip fittings for the muffler. then go to the tail pipe and pull back on it. I actually laid on my back and pushed with my foot on the rear tire while i pulled. it should come off. I recommend keeping a floor jack under the muffler so when it slides out of the pipe it doesnt fall and slam the back side of the exhaust into the bottom of the truck. Then loosen the rear clamp and pull that side off.

Thank you for all the advice. I will most likely do both for the wagon.

Just ordered. $285 shipped. Hopefully I'll like it. Already chopped the exhaust but I took off resonator and added a flow master 50hd. I like it

How's the 50 HD at highway cruising speeds? If got a Magna Flow on my PW (don't remember the model) and feel like it's gotten less aggressive sounding in the last couple months.

Still have plenty of sound when I get on it. Which is what I wanted. I will say that yes I notice a difference with the pedal commander. But not a $300 difference. I only use sport mode not the plus and yes it takes away lag....that's about it. If this was $149 I'd say this is great....300 eh it's ok. I paid 400 for my exhaust work and that was a better improvement in my opinion

Lol. Nah, def not used to it. I've had this exhaust for over a year now. It's literally been the last 2 months where I've noticed it. Quieter on start and and when I mash the skinny pedal. At highway speeds I had minimal drone when it was installed and now there's absolutely no drone.

But drone is tolerable at highway speeds? All I've found for sound clips are 1500s and 2500s with the 5.7, I'm sure there's a slight different with our 6.4s.

I have 6.4 2500 megacab with flowmaster 44 series muffler and i deleted the resonator. When the MDS kicks in which isn’t often, cause it’s a 8000 lbs truck, i don’t have what might be considered drone. To me drone is like when someone opens the window and that weird pressure thing happens. I can definitely notice exhaust note changes, but it’s not annoying like a friend of mines truck. He has a 2015 1500 5.7 and magnaflow exhaust and when his MDS kicks in it sounds horrible. Very noticeable. My previous Ram was an 04 5.7 pre MDS so with flowmaster 40 series so can’t really do a good comparison from experience because the trucks are too different. My only advice would be to try different mufflers till you reach acceptable sound quality. It’s expensive but what’s the other option, stock exhaust.
