Anyone know a place in canada where I can get some 5" black tips? May also get a muffler at the same time.

if you find some, let me know too! but given how pricey they are in the US I doubt there's much market for pple willing to pay 300 plus canadian for 5" tips. plus for me, they'd have to be bolt on. i'm not paying that plus another 150 bucks for welding them on. i've been looking everywhere..new, used, performance shops. closest i've found are bolt on diesel tips which you can get at a lot of performance places but the ones i've seen don't have a rolled end..and wouldn't convert from the 2 1/2 or 2 we would need (depending what you want to slip into what I think on our 2 1/4" pipes. i think the smallest i found is a 3" to 5" requiring an adapter and welding to do it properly.

Here's the ones I have on my truck.

They may say "Diesel tips", but they're just fine on my Hemi.

I did find that the single bolt on top was just too weak so I cut it off...made it a 4 way split and used 2 1/2" band clamps.

Check with Flo Pro in Red Deer, they have a variety of tips they make

http://www.flopro.com/products.html

they don't do to 5 inch, unfortunately. when i saw those at the shop that put in my muffler, i asked about the sizing...he gave me a strange look and said "doesn't matter, we can solder anything". I said "i know that, but will you do it for free if I buy the tips?". he wasn't smiling.

You're up against a brickwall,as your stock pipes are 2.25" not 2.5",and I've never found a bolt-on 2.25" to 5" tip especially in black. You can buy exhaust adapters though, with a little digging you should find an adapter that'll allow you to bolt a 5" tip to your 2.25' pipes.Crappy Tire carries cheap adapters, lol. Have you thought about a 4" or 4.5" tip, they look pretty decent in the dual bumper cut-outs.I've recycled my chrome stainless steel 4" Flo-Pro tips off my old truck and onto this truck, they're going on 6 years old now,and still look good.
Terry you looked at my 4" tips, lol. I actually cut the 5" Magnaflow tips off as they were a little big for the bumper cut-outs in my opinion, but that's just my opinion, lol

Terry I see 5" tips,lol

yeah, but 4" inlet. me and the OP want bolt ons. lol. i actually found some on kijiji at a wholesaler in calgary that were black and i think were 3 to 5". meant to be a diesel pipe..and they were bolt ons. i almost bought them but its so far down my list of things to waste...I mean spend money on for the truck:) i spent the money on lug nuts instead and glad i did.

the end to that story btw is it appears that 3 sets were damaged or whatever..and one set was coming separately all along. today i got an email saying the "damaged" ones were returned and i was getting a refund for the 3 sets. I'm assuming because they screwed up so badly on the order in a few ways. So in the end, 4 sets will have cost me 20 some bucks. happy ending in the end! I guess that's a few less Starbucks for Jeff Bezos. I'm sure he'll be ok

The stock dual exhaust pipes are 2.25" not 2.5",and I've never seen a bolt-on 5" tip for a 2.25" pipe. That's not to say there isn't one,but it doesn't seem to be a easily found or cheap tip in Canada, lol. The OP could phone Flo-Pro and ask if they'll make him a bolt on black 5" tip,as they still are a custom shop and got their start building custom race mufflers for us local guys a good 30 years ago.I find the phone to still work good for finding out information, lol

Stock pipes are 2.5" OD. I'd be happy to make a vid with my calipers tomorrow.
Thats what i thought. 2.25 on the muffler outlets, then 2.5 on the exhaust pipe. But I do get confused! I know there's 2.25 somewhere!
