Haha not front window. But there is a kit that you can have the whole back window come out. Thinking about it. Tomorrow I’ll go see somebody about making tube doors

If the trucks getting old enough repair bills are high and it’s time to dump.... /QUOTE]

Agreed...modern cars/trucks don't seem like the best choice for long term ownership. I'm sure some people make it work, but overall I don't see long lifespans for these things. My friend who isn't into cars asked me if I thought his car would be around as long as mine has (66 buick)...and I had to kind of laugh cause I doubt his car (newer chevy cruise) will even be around in 10 years, let alone 50+.

Took it in for the free 1st oil change @ 10k. Full synth all Mopar they charge $104 ($116 OTD) At their prices $7.20x12 (mopar 5w-40 TD oil) & $20.25 (filter)that's $106.25. Now if I do it myself, $20.25 & 61.70 (3gal T6 @ Sams) is 82.75. Until they go up, the $23.50 is not worth saving since I also get the "30pt checks" and driveshaft lube, so I guess the dealer will be doing it.

What was kewl is that when I mentioned that my wife has asthma and I showed him my filter plug, the response was "oh our guys use them all the time".

Are these really free. Every time I’ve bought one a vehicle. I buy “used” it’s always a service package or some extra package they charge for...... but don’t say they charge till you’re singing and you go over contract. I always have em take it off. Typically ones I’ve seen is. Year “3” oil changes and car washes. For the tune of 800-1,200 dollars. Just curious

Just the the first one is free. I could have gotten the $$$ deal for cut price oil changes, thought there would have been a bigger difference between DYI and dealer.

Gotcha. I do mine. I pay $$42 for 2 gal roughly for PUP and another maybe $10 for oil filter. I got grease and grease gun always so I don’t count the shaft lube. But I have to rams too so it’s just easy to do myself.

I understand trading when the truck is costing money, but what made you change brands?

Just asking.

MPG was the biggest factor. One of my good friends bought a 2018 F150 and I’ve driven it numerous times and loved the ride and the amount of power these ecoboost have is impressive. I’m not brand loyal but any means I’m going to drive what best fits my needs and right now a truck that gets 21 mpg and still has plenty of power is what I want. I got really sick of the 12-13 mpg I was getting with my Ram.

Firefighter14 - Sounds like you did some good homework and you made the best choice for you. As long as your happy that's what counts the most. Just so as long as what you buy has a tailgate. Sorry I have a thing for pick up trucks. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! :insane::peace:
