Fixed my bakflip tonneau cover. was helping my daughter move, she says i sold my bbq to mom, can you take it to her place. sureeee. what could go wrong. except i forgot my bungie cords at home so i opened my bakflip, put in the bbq and the 2nd panel came down partly and wedged it the bbq against the tailgate and it was soild. i didn't have too far to drive so i figured it would be fine if i was careful. by the time i got to her mom's 5 minutes away, the panel had managed to come right down. hadn't damaged anything except a scratch in the paint on the panel bar. no biggie. take the bbq out, closed the panels and realized the cover had moved. i was able to pull it back a bit so i thought, great. now i have to figure out how to tighten it up (dealership had installed). so then it was shifting as i drove it and being OCD, i had to pull it back after each drive so after i was done at my daughters i take a quick look and realized it was just 2 big knobs i had to tighten at the front end to secure it! yay! so, fixed. but interestingly enough, one of those kind of glad it happened. the drivers side was just a bit tighter needed. but the passengers side was like never had been tightened loose! (after 6 months being on the truck). i didn't think of it at the time but if it loosens up by itself, i should probably blue loctite it.

Not being a douche. Honest question. Was drinking involved writing this post. Cause it gets hard to follow towards the end lol.

Or even try a Craftsman Creeper, they hold up well also. (Even the newer one made over seas ). I’m 6-02 and 230. Mine is about ten yrs old and no issues.

Went about killing some drone in the exhaust. Dealer had put on a MRPB exhaust which just had the worst drone I ever experienced in an exhaust system. Installed a Vibrant 1142 Resonator 3" in/out. Which did wonders to kill drone and help the overall sound of exhaust. Now much better.

I did end up removing the heat shield near spare tire. No matter how much I tried to tweak it and would keep touching.

Removed all that useless crap and rerouting it to a side exhaust.

Friday my two tires came in, for some unknown reason mine came with two SRAs up front And two Wrangler HP‘s in the back with more tread on them. So I found two matching HPs with the same amount of tread and today they went on the front so now all four tires match.

Not exactly sure what to do with the 2 SRAs yet.

What engine?

6.7 this was on about a 100 round trip @ 70mph on as about level highway here in WY/CO as it gets. Right after an oil change and for a first time in a long time no wind. My usual flirts with 18 mph with combo city/high riving.

waterless washed my vehicle for the first time early in the morning. usually do it post 4pm when the sun is at the back of the house so it's not hot metal, but i find it can be too much shade. so i tried it this morning at 730am, 10 degrees celcius outside..it was awesome! quiet on the culdesac...just me and the Ram bonding:)

Finally (I hope!) Got my running boards installed correctly.

Luvernes instructions leave something to be desired because 4 of the brackets look alike and they don't really point out the small differences. Of course I find that out after everything is installed and not really lining up.

After "fixing" it twice, third time I think I got it right. They bolt to the cab mounts so hopefully factory torque spec and loctite will keep them from clunking on turns and bumps.

Even in full sun it's good as long as you don't try to wash to much of it at once. When I'm in full summer sun, I usually just do the hood then dry, then grill and bumper and dry etc.

I love how when you're done you don't have water constantly dribbling out of the crevices for the next few hours.

I was going to suggest you make a swing for your kids with those tires, and thought better of the idea, they might be to dangerous for that too.

No wife....no kids....HAPPY LIFE! Once I locate a 20 inch spare wheel I’m gonna put one of them up underneath as a spare the other one I’ll probably shoot at!
