I recently purchased a 1988 dodge W150 short bed and doing some research about the history of the truck. I have decoded the vin number and looked up when Dodge switched to EFI. I know that Dodge switch the 5.2 liter 318 to EFI in 1988 but this truck is still with a carburetor. The date the truck was built was 10/1987 but the VIN and title says it's a 1988. Does anyone have any info about this or ran across a 1988 with a carburetor?
