If you've seen the new Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Wax - it's worth the $$ in my opinion.

It's easy to use, and actually saves time compared to traditional waxes that you have to rub off. It's basically like you're waxing the truck while drying it. The shine and water beading/shedding is great. So far I've tried it on my truck, our Jeep and then my John Deere tractor.

I applied some Mothers CMX to my work truck, a dark grey GMC last week. It has rained most everyday since but I have been driving it and the truck still looks like I just washed it with no water spots or dirt. These new ceramics seem to be the way to go.

my coworker and I got a couple bottles, he did his 300C, and man what a difference. I haven't had time to do my truck yet...but as soon as it gets sunny I will. He said same thing, in all the rain, way better.

TSR6, your fleet sounds like mine, truck, Jeep and JD tractor. Thanks for info, I'm a Mequiars fan so I may have to check this stuff out.

Just picked up a bottle today, hoping to get mine done tomorrow. Is everyone stripping the wax off before application ? ( I just waxed mine 2 weeks ago with chemical guys butter wet ) Or just applying over an already clean but waxed finish?

I got the Mothers CMX version

May have to try this stuff.

I love how every product is now using the "MADE IN THE USA" sticker with the "with global products"... haha

I just pick d up a bottle myself. I tested it on my hood yesterday and was impressed. The water beads and falls off the hood consistently. I’ll try finishing up the entire truck this weekend.

It seems like there are 3 fairly new products on the market that are being considered "Mini Ceramic Coatings". Meguiar's, Mothers and Turtle Wax have all jumped into the fray. From initial reports on many of the detailer sites they all seem to do a pretty good job, so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I heard all the hype and tried the Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Wax and I must say I’m thoroughly impressed!

IMO it was simple: wash car, rinse car, spray wax on wet car, rinse again and just dry. It was fools proof.

It leaves a nice shine and a luster feel, without being greasy. I’m glad I tried it. Excellent product.

Probably depends on the environment--weather, garage kept, how many time you wash your truck and with what-etc etc. If it were me, I'd do it monthly.

I am a big fan of Meguiar’s as well, that's all I use and the products work great. I used their new "ceramic" hybrid spray wax and also a bottle of F11(not together). Meguiar’s is as good if not better than F11 at a much more affordable price point. Both the ceramics are extremely hydrophobic. However, has any one noticed that even though they are shiny, they don't seem to have the same high gloss luster as wax? I seem to just prefer a good wax once every other month and touch up with the Meguiar’s detailer and spray wax. I rarely even use soap anymore, just rinse and go. In my opinion the only thing the ceramic gives you is a little more longevity between waxes, it's much better than nothing at all. However, I don't think they are any slicker than wax and definitely not any thicker from a protection standpoint.

A good sealant will last a lot longer than the average wax--you wouldn't have to wax monthly--and you could top it with a wax if you wanted more shine and/or depth.

These you could coat really as often as you like. If you had a professional ceramic coat, maybe once every 3-5 years.
