Got this beautiful crack on the windshield while driving on the highway today. Heard the rock hit and knew the glass was f*****. Quoted $360 for a full replacement. Less than the deductible so I’ll have to do it one of these days...

FYI, if you’re thinking about moving to Colorado, we have hail the size of tennis balls, flying rocks, and everyone driving is high/clueless. Just a heads up.

I just got back from a trip and had a rock hit my window on two separate occasions, one was the size of a pinto bean and I didn’t see the other one. Both hit near the center of the windshield, I hope like hell mine doesn’t crack....so far so good.

the day i picked up my truck, literally, i decided to take a 2 lane back highway instead of the 4 lane home. mistake. a semi barreling along towards me threw up a stone that gave me a tiny chip. tiny, but, same day fer chrissakes. my son fills chips for work right now so i got him to do it for me for free. (windshield insurance is very expensive where i am. some companies won't even sell it. last time i had it, cost me 168 a year)

Getting the steering wheel straightened as it’s slightly off to the right and annoying me. Alignment shop’s tech used to be a level 2 tech for mopar and is going to loctite and torque down the adjuster nuts on the drag link. Screw fca and their let’s weld everything that’s loose ideals. [emoji2357]

Sad update on my fuel wheels. Due to tariff issues and trade wars, there is no foreseen eta. Sooo still gonna be patiently waiting :(

Actually, this was 2 weeks ago but...

I got the new 60 gallon auxiliary diesel tank installed. It feeds into the main (standard) tank while I drive and works perfectly. I now have about 2000 miles of range with no load and about 1000 pulling my 35 foot trailer. I took it on a 400 mile (each way) trip pulling the trailer and it was great not having to stop on the way. I could run to a gas station after unhooking in the evening and didn't have to squeeze the truck/trailer into the fuel pumps. It was weird driving for 7 hours solid and never seeing the gauge move off of Full.

If it hasn't cracked by now you might be in the clear haha. Mine was almost instantly. Sigh...the joys of owning a vehicle.

MileHighRam11 - You must be into fresh water fishing or boating then. In my book you need a truck for both.

Happened yesterday - Due to a failed fuel gauge sender, I ran out of gas on the way home. Plan was to get gas during lunch, but ended up working through lunch. Then, thought I'd have enough to make it home. I use my trip for mileage and usually refill at around 450 miles (32 gallon tank) and only put in 27 gallons. Well, it seems I forgot to reset my trip immediately after my last fill up and I don't remember what it was. Trip said 410 miles and the truck sputtered once, then again.

Luckily, I was right at an exit with a gas station close by. Truck didn't make it the length of the exit ramp. I only had to walk about 200 yards to the gas station. Bought a 1 gallon can, filled it up, back to the truck.

That's the first time in almost 5 years of owning the truck, that I've put a full 32 gallons in to fill it up. Oh, and the first time ever of running out of gas.
