Currently I have a 2016 Laramie Longhorn with red top and gold bottom exterior. Did a build on Ram site and it doesn't have 2 tone option. Is the option possible ? I'd like to get something similar to what I have.

Hey Racer,
Two tones were suspended for awhile as a new paint facility was being constructed. I know, at least for a few weeks, 5th Gens were back to being able to be ordered with two tone paint. Your dealer will be able to tell you. Also remember different dealers have more allowances and allotments than others so start at the highest truck volume dealer.

Saw 2 tone dark blue/gray at my local dealer and must say it was VERY good looking. Probably the first DT I would consider buying.
Not sure trim level though.

Thanks for the info. Odds are I will be ordering. I can't remember the last time a Dealer had in stock exactly what I wanted. The last time I got the closest, I regretted it.

In process of ordering a 2020 Longhorn with 2 tone. I want Patriot blue on top but its not available yet. Dealer says they can't get any info on when it will be available. Anyone here know ?

Honestly I could swear I saw a Patriot Blue/gray two-tone truck a couple weeks ago. It was at my local dealers lot and is gone now, I assume it sold pretty quickly.
And it was the first DT that I would consider buying....it looked REALLY nice.

I'm in the process of ordering a 2020 Longhorn 2 tone with patriot blue. That color along with several others have not been released yet. Anyone heard when they will be ?

I have a new 2019 1500 Quad Cab two tone steel grey metalic with silver as the second color, wasnt only two available, saw black & silver and blue and silver so they are available, looks sharp also.

You definitely didn't offend anyone I'm sure, sorry if my response came off as negative in anyway, it wasn't my intention. Unfortunately, it seems like it's hard to get accurate or any information at all sometimes with paint availability. Like the thread in the 4th gen section about the guy that ordered a 4th gen in robin egg blue and has been waiting for maybe like a year or so now, changing from D to D1 status, back and forth. The two tones shouldn't be that bad, but seems like it's going to be hard to know when they are going to make it available. Love the two tone as well btw, never had one but really love some of the combinations I have seen.

If you want the walnut brown it was nearly impossible as they stopped them early on. They realized they did not have the paint capacity to shut down the paint booth to do the two tones. They did put out just a few two tones initially and you will see them. I wanted black with the walnut but gave up and went all black. Its a beautiful beast so no complaints.
