All I can say is WOW! Showed up a few hours ago.. Driver came 450 miles from the dealer and averaged 22+. Everything I wanted it to be. My daughter and I took it to get pizza and what a change from the 11 I had. Trans is amazing, sounds amazing, drives amazing. I am very pleased with this 2016 RAM purchase..

Only disappointing things was that I misread the build sheet.. No nav. It's "Nav Capable with GPS Antenna Input" So I may be picking up a 17 and newer head unit for Nav and Android.

Congratulations! Glad it worked out well for you, it looks great!

Also just so you know, you'll have to look for 18 or newer head unit if you want android auto as well, the 17's didn't have that feature.

If you just got to have factory NAV here's a cheap way to get it and it only involves entering a code which is also what the dealer would do also to convert it to NAV.

I converted my own factory non NAV unit with this same guys help. It literally only took a few minutes and is a hell of a lot cheaper than upgrading to the 2018 headunit.

In a previous post I had said that I didn't really have any mods in mind but within minutes of having it, my wife and I popped off a few lol. Thinking honeycomb grill and debadging already... Looking to see of they sell inserts to replace the chrome louvers

It doesn't take long to want to spend a little more! I like the ideas you have for it, debadged always looks cleaner/smoother in my opinion, and really like the honeycomb grill as well.

Look around, I found a complete grill on Offer Up for 70$. Really makes a visual difference!!

Congrats! My 16 has been mechanically sound. Just make sure you crank the oil filter down tight, as mine has backed off a couple times.

I don't have Nav in my Ram either. As others have posted, our units are "upgradable" to Nav. But it is pricey, so I just use my phone. My 13 Viper is also "upgradable" but I haven't done it, as apparently the upgrade can brick the head unit! Unless you HAVE to have it, I would leave as is.

Yea, I won't pay for the upgrade. If anything, I'll get something that is android friendly

Enjoy ...had Ram Nav on my 2016 RAM Lone Star Edition and it was so intuitive, wished it had had more automatic like keepin your home address saved.....
