I've wondered about replacing my welded piece.
I can't recall exactly which bar without looking under the truck again, but what you are referencing is two bars and a pitman arm. I think we just need the one bar:

correct thats all we need, but i plan to beef my truck out as much as i can. will i use it to that ability? i dont know... and personally i like the heim joints over the tie rod ends which the diesel power drag link has.

Synergy also sells a replacement, stronger drag link - very happy with mine. I bought it as a kit with their beefier tie rod, but they also sell both separately.

I just bought the synergy rod. Thinking about installing it myself
