Do you need the trans too? My experience it's easier to pull the engine separately just because of the height needed and angles involved. I haven't heard of any aftermarket MDS systems, but there's a reason Mopar didn't fit that year 2500 with MDS lol.
I don't need the trans too, just thought it'd be easier since there's bolts all of the way around, I have it cleared out in front of it to pull it like radiators out, got a forklift and lifting hook that goes on the forks is how I'm going to pull it, still not sure how I'll pick it though

Is my new hemi going to implode if I use autolite irridium? And gap is .44 correct? And when people say face the ground together for better spark do they mean the point or the back of the ground rod? You are a man of many answers

Explode no lol, but it is fairly well documented that the 03-08 5.7's tend to like OE style coppers vice platinum or iridium. Some have reported misfires, plus there's the cost of buying 16 expensive plugs lol. I've never heard of anyone indexing the plugs that way so I couldn't tell you; it doesn't sound like it would make a significant difference in a street engine (indexing plugs is an old racer's trick). Factory install definitely isn't that way.

Lol well I kinda already got them from rock Auto already, I've heard that on gm 3800 series 2 also but they ran amazing when I used then in that, personally I think brand is everything, autolite irridium is all I've ever used and I've loved them but then again I've never triffled with dodge/Chrysler sparkys

Like I said, mixed results. Only way you'll know for sure is to try.

Made the mistake of messing with motor mount bushings, going to have to use a press at work and get another insert for the right side, slid off and had a close call, you ever messed with the 06-09 cast P.I.T.A. mounts?

$20 each for the rubber inserts, $130 for left mount, $300ish for the right mount, it's worth it to buy the mounts if you have plenty of money, trying to budget lol, got a huge vacation (for me anyways, first real adult one) planned this winter my brother already paid for
