in my 2016 1500 cc. I have the factory carpeted mat that goes across the whole back floor. I also have those boxes underneath on each side. The lids are hard plastic and the mat just slides when people get in and out and almost kill themselves. Anyone have a solution to keep the mat secure and still allow access?

Thanks!

I personally havent tried to remedy this as I dont have a lot of back seat traffic, but others have posted that they found success with covering the lids with felt tape.

Maybe some felt tape as others have done or maybe even some grip tape.

Easy solution but you may not like. Weathertech mats. OEM mats are the first to go for me when I get a new truck. Throw them out and put Weathertech's in.

Are you using just the black OEM carpet ones, ever thought about adding the OEM rubber Ram over the carpeted ones, to save the carpet? I know they don't slide.
I used to OEDROs, so I have a full rubber set out of my 2019.

I have the oedros in the front which I really like for $50. I get limited back seat traffic and I like the look of the carpeted mat in the back but on occasion I get someone in there far enough between that I forget to warn them. I’ll probably look to go with a non skid option on he covers.

I have the factory sub under the back seat but no pictures. Did you look at someone else’s post maybe?

Weird. That may be a generic picture for that link. I haven't used tapatalk in a while. Here is a screenshot from my desktop:
