Has anyone heard or had any issues with the 5.7? My 2017 currently seized with less than 12k with only having a bad cylinder 8 miss fire.. any input would be greatly appreciated!!

They need to pull the motor and tear it down and see what broke on it because it won't turn at all

2017 is still (barely) under warranty if you have less than 36k on the odometer... get that sucker in there now - they either fix it to good, or replace the engine at no cost to you.

It's been at the dealer since last Friday. they just found out this past Friday that the motor isn't turning over, but that's after putting two starters in it and frying them immediately.

Time to breathe a huge sigh of relief then... can't imagine how much that would cost :/

I find it interesting that the tech burned up two starters. When an engine is seized and the starter engages you'll know it. You would have thunk the tech would have tried to rotate the engine with a breaker bar or impact before trying a second starter.

Yeah they tried going with just a simple wiring issue and yes thankfully it is under warranty but it still stumps me that cylinder fried like it did
