Hello everyone, Im new to the Ram world, Just picked up a 2006 Hemi mega cab and was wondering what kind of mileage most are getting. Mine is leveled and has 35's on it and i am getting around 10-11. Is that about right? I knew buying it that the mileage would suck but i just want to make sure that is about right and there is nothing wrong

That's about right for a 5.7 gas mega with those tires and lift. Yeah it sucks...

I figured it was pretty close. I had to put a fuel pump in when i got this truck, and i also noticed that when my gas light comes on i can only fit 22 gallons in the 34 gallon tank which i thought was odd. Is that normal?

You should be able to fit a little more in there on E, these tanks are designed with about a 6 gal reserve.

Mine also feel like you got to give it a little more gas to get her off the line than most trucks i have drivin. IS it just a big sled? and thats life. for instance when i let off the brake it doesnt roll forward like most automatic vehicles. I actually have to give it a little to get it moving

Something could be holding it back, bad alignment (toe), brakes dragging, worn out trans, slight up hill, under inflated tires... food for thought

I get about 14 city and 16-18 highway. The most I was ever able to pump in was 28 gallons. Mine rolls when brakes are released, and that’s with my tc wearing out. That’s going to be a fun afternoon when I get to it or when it completely fails. I’m pretty sure I’ll make it through the winter though, hopefully. 1182xx miles on odo.
