Think of buying a 2020 big horn crew with night edition. Need opinions.

So looking at buying my first pickup and looking at the 2020 ram big horn crew cab with night edition package and preferred package 25z. I am coming from a suburban and just would like some friendly advice as to what everyone thinks of someone used to an suv going to a pickup like this. We travel a lot with our two dogs and love the space when the rear seats are folded up. Please share you tips and experiences with this truck. Thanks so much.

Love my truck, have a 4x4 with the sport package, Hemi, navy and more. Had a F 150 before this truck, like this truck better.

I had an SUV prior to the ram, it was nice having the back to put things in out of the elements. However, I bought a hard top trifold and it is working great. It is nice to throw stuff in the bed that I wouldn't think of putting in the suv. Everything from trash to tree limbs. I would take the truck over the suv.

My wife has a expedition and I have always had trucks so I can give some experience. I like my truck much better. The expedition has its uses but 99/100 times the 3rd row is folded and we only use the 2nd row as we only have 2 kids. The folded flat 3rd row is awesome for dogs because we have 2 kids. For everything else we take the truck. I have a hard folding cover on my truck, my current truck is the 3rd one I have owned with hard cover. it's great for anything, we put diaper bag back there groceries. I stuff it full of tree limbs, bush trimmings, trash and I dont have to worry about it flying out. If I need my bed the cover folds open and I have full use of my bed love it. The 1500s when the seats are folded up are great for dogs my dad had a 19 1500 (he traded it for a 2500 to pull his camper a 35ft toy hauler) he use to fold the back seat up and his 120lb golden doodle loved it back there. The 1500s to me ride better and handle better than the larger SUVs if I had to make a invasive maneuver on the highway i would rather be in the truck it stiffer less body roll. All around if you dont need the 3rd tow get the truck and never look back.

I have a 19 night/black. Seats fold up nicely + rear floor is totally flat no center bump. I think it's better for dogs.

Wish I was more mindful of the remote unlock. Where u just put ur hand in the handle to unlock and open.

I thought no big deal just pull out the fob + press unlock + fob back in pocket... if carrying stuff or have dogs on a leash, it would be helpful

Youll love it. only thing I can think of going from an suv to a truck is having a lighter rear end. I spun out once because I laid into the accelerator too hard with an empty bed. Wasn't trying to gun it either, just hit it too hard and it was raining.
