40 days progression , my issue started when I lost my cruise control for the second time . Lost it at 35k and the dealer put a new switch in the steering wheel and that solved it till now. 40 days ago I lost my cruise again . No biggie at this point , was waiting for some time to ok at it. Then another electrical occurrence happen upon start up .
Over the next couple of days randomly my truck either would start up fine and be normal, or it would start and I would have no turn signals, radio controls on the back of the steering wheel do not work, back lights for cruise switch and evic switch are out . No turn signals, no brights but headlights are on because wipers are . Wipers on with switch off . Cannot switch speeds , just wiping steady.
All this would go on for 90 seconds and return to normal .
Then two weeks later my cruise came back.
This is where I am today, now I start my truck and it may take up to 20 minutes for my wipers to stop , get turn signals, high beams radio controls on steering and back lights for steering switches to come back on.
I really need help as to where to start, this was a 2 min malfunction I been living with for a few weeks but last night was the first time it took 20 minutes for all my turn signals to come back and for my wipers to stop.
Any help to point in the right direction would be appreciated. Love to be able to buy whatever I need and do it myself . Right now I need this truck working.

I would pay the diagnostic fee at the dealer. That would at least give a road map and a place to start moving forward.

Not sure if your truck has the tipm (totally integrated power module) if it does I know ur wiper relays and stuff are in that module. Go get your battery checked as well. From There I'd see what modules are all connected to what wiring wise. It may be something like a body control module acting up. I Beleive all steering wheel controls and radio and possibly cruise goes through your bcm as well.

My initial thought would be a clockspring issue or possibly the battery starting to go bad. Have the local parts store check the battery and alternator and do load tests on both as that’s free and quick and easy. But the clockspring provides power to everything on the steering wheel and is usually cheap and can be done pretty quickly. Just make sure to disconnect the battery as you don’t want to have the airbag jump out and say surprise! Lol

Today I was screwing around to see what else didn’t work, turn the 4x4 switch on the dash and now that is stuck on too. I appreciate all the help. Reluctantly I just dropped it off at the dealer. I guess I’m going to have to pay on this one. I’m fairly good at all home projects and most truck things for r and r but I’m not electrical guy. Let’s see what they say.
I was thinking clock spring too until my 4x4 got stuck on

Have there been any aftermarket electronics installed in the truck?

Dealership service can be real tricky if so. I've seen them refuse to troubleshoot unless any aftermarket electronics were removed and everything is back to factory.

OMG!! Jesus. How many years did they work on it for that kind of price?? That’s ridiculous as those are all pretty easy fixes.

What components were really bad? Sounds like they just started swapping parts until the problem went away. goodness
