'15 2500 w/ 6.4 Hemi. Looking to add some sound without adding in-cab drone. I know its hard to find in these trucks without doing some major exhaust aork and sinking some decent money into the system (in one way or another). Ive about decided that I dont want it loud all the time, but it would be nice to have it get a little wild sometimes. So, Im thinking of goin with a cutout, so I can still run it stock quiet when I need to or want to.
My question is, if I go with a cutout branch tied into the main 3.5" tubing, is the diameter of the branch or the angle of the splice going to matter much performance-wise? all I am looking to accomplish is to have a loud system on demand, but I dont want to sacrifice performance by decreasing exhaust velocity or causing unnecessary turbulance from using a bad connection or from using a tube that it too small. My thoughts are that It wont matter on size because it still has the factory system for any exhaust gasses that cant make it out of the cutout.
