No luck with my software update from Phoenix for my PX6. Same boot up issues this morning. This thing is going back.... Good thing it's only a couple weeks old! Now, just have to figure out where to try another one from.

You know I did have a problem last week with the outside temperature getting stuck at 66 degrees. Had to use Alfaobd to disable and then enable it again.... Works fine again...

It is frustrating that I did the steering wheel control install and now it doesn't work. I still think it has to do with the software update I have in there.

In my advanced settings there is an option for steering wheel controls and it says something like custom or stock configuration have you tried changing it to stock configuration. Custom never worked for me....
Also I noticed a few weeks back steering wheel controls are in AlfaOBD too. Can't remember exactly where though. Sorry.
But I would scroll through and make sure it's turned on.

There is also a setting in your Chinese settings menu on the steering wheel setup page to change between "hi-z" and "low-z". Have you tried switching between the two?

In addition, sometimes the theme selected will break the controls. Try switching themes and UI to "classic" if you haven't already.

I have tried all of your recommendations, SitKneelBend and BDH without success. I think what I'm going to do is remove the airbag, disconnect the wires for the controls then reconnect and see what happens.

Even though I returned my last T-style head unit I still like to follow and read this thread. I have to say after months of installing, uninstalling, and troubleshooting these head units I am happy to finally have a head unit that just works. No mine is not as integrated as the T-style and it doesn't have digital climate controls but it is still an android head unit with similar features. I guess to sum it up... I am glad I got out! LOL

I ended up with a Joying 10.1 Head Unit. I started a thread on it incase others were looking for info on them plus I like this thread and the support I got from it so I wanted to help as well.

It's easier to just try the factory radio if you still have it (or know someone with one to test with).

I think you said earlier you thought it might have been an update you did that caused this... Before disassembling your steering wheel or dash, have you tried reverting back?

Anyone have a fix for crappy FM radio reception? It's spotty at best. Sometimes it is clear, sometimes it is pure static. Unplugged the antenna connection and it didn't seem to make a difference to the signal (could still hear local station, but staticy)
Almost seems like the antenna is not connecting to the unit when plugged in

On mine there is a red plastic insert that prevents the T Style radio adapter from seating properly. I had to use a small flathead to shove that piece in/down to get a decent connection.

Very new firmware on yours. The themed firmware I use is from late 2018. I'm not sure if they have released a newer one since then.

Everything should be compatible though if you'd like to try it out. Is yours a 1 or 3 button bezel (looks like one, just want to be sure)?

I know this is a dumb question but what are you looking at to know what's old or new? Also I'm a bit afraid to mess with the firmware, I just haven't had any of the issues (at least not yet) that have been on this board. On the otherhand I would kind of like all the themes, on the other otherhand maybe all the themes are much of the trouble with these units, thoughts?
