Hi I just installed some HIDs in my 2017 projectors and noticed there's a weird shadow in the pattern, has anyone else noticed on their lights or have a fix for it?caa54aa8187b25f1f87ee7be840e8313.jpg

Try clocking the bulb where the wire is at 6:00. You will probably have to take off the plastic retainer (3 little screws), clock the bulb, then install the retainer with the bulb in place (as opposed to just inserting and screwing in the bulb". The retainer will only go on in one position. That took care of the shadow issue I had for the most part. There is still a very slight shadow, but nothing like before (my before looked exactly like yours).

^^^ This

I too had to do this, just remove the headlight, remove the back cover, loosen the 3 screws (T-15 I think) and rotate the bulb

Looks like a nice crisp cutoff. What hid kit did you put in?

Pretty cheap from Amazon, the slim ballast fit in the housing so no drilling out the cover...
