1/2 Drop - Shocks Question!

I am going to do a 1/2 drop on my 2007 RWD 1500. 1" inch drop springs up front and the 2" shackle leveling kit for the rear. I am doing it just to improve the handling and looks just a little bit.

I was wondering if it was necessary or worth it to use lowering shocks or is OEM ok?

Also, will that slight drop do anything concerning what I can load in the bed?

I used Nitro Drop II's -rear shackle drop. I think the rule is more than one inch, use different shocks -but don't quote me on that one. Different shocks should equal better ride too.
