So I had at least one manifold bolt break over the past week. And yes I know it’s that and not the cam/lifters so I won’t be posting a video asking what the problem is. Anyways, how many have just replaced the bolts and gaskets? And how many replaced the manifold with some shorties? Looking for the general consensus here. I know long tubes are the best option but not looking to go that route right now. Thanks for any input.

Just replacing the bolts/gaskets won’t fix the issue and you will have bolts snap again very shortly after.

What happens is the cast iron manifolds warp over time, you can either have your stock manifolds resurfaced and they should not warp any further, or go with shorty headers and never worry about the issue again. It’s really a matter of how much disposable money you have, headers don’t come cheap
