Bully dog canned tunes are known for being terrible on motors, and I don't think most have ability to monitor how your engine is running like knock sensor etc. Which in my opinion, if you like your truck then dont run high octane gas unless you can monitor that and have auto warnings set. If you do have ability to run live data monitoring then that's all good you can just watch it. But running high octane (canned tunes not tailored to your motor) is a gamble if it'll be fine, or wreak havoc. Looooooots of guys out there who have badly damaged motors by doing this, and bully dog is the most common one for doing it. But, that's just my .02
