Is there anyway to disable the cargo bed light? (The one in the 3rd brakelight) 2019 Big Horn, level 2.

I think the only way to do that is to unplug it, or remove the bulbs.

The 2 side lights or the actual brake light part?

I am still new to the truck and not sure how it functions but there is is a cargo light switch on the light knob not sure if that will disable it. Other wise like mentioned just take the bulbs out. Why do you want them off?

I have a fiberglass bed cover and light is no use. Also, when ever I open a door, the light comes on, I dislike that when I pull into a hunting spot before sun up. Would rather not have it come on at all because it is of no use.

I also hunt but the sound and the truck and the headlights draw more attention than the cargo lights. Not sure if it will throw a code but try taking the bulbs out of they aren't any use for you anyway.

Try removing the bulbs, the dealer replaced one that had burnt out on my 19 Laramie and there were no codes to indicate it was not functioning. Worth a try.

I turn off the daytime running lights when I hunt, I also found where I could disable the horn for remote start and lock function. I’ll try taking the bulbs out.

Will be your best bet I also turned off my daytime running lights and set horn to sound on 2 pushes.
