Remote Start problem

Saturday my truck just started " remote" starting itself. What could it be? it's a 2017 could low voltage battier's be causing it? HELP.

Not likely low voltage. On my 2o1o I had remote issues. It would role down the windows as I walked off. IDK if the construction is different on yours but here we go...

The remote was manufactured with a metal disk on the rubber cover (ie the button). This disk would dislodge from the rubber and make contact with the copper on the circuit bd. I disassembled it, cleaned the rubber and disk with alcohol, then reattached with rtv. Good as new.

I'll try anything at this point. but i switched remotes to try it and it still did it. i've had nothing but problems w/ this truck. should have kept the 1500 ram.

Sounds like my suggestion will not fix your problem but give it a try anyway. It never hurts to replace the battery in the fob as you suggested while you are in there.
