Hey All

I installed the 1211s two weeks ago and am moving to then 1210s or 1223V in the near future. The 1211s had a good amount of wheel hop when unloaded on a certain type of pavement on a highway I use daily. Would there be any interest in the 1211s that have about 400 miles on them? Any input from someone with 1210? I’m looking for something slightly stiffer than the OEM coils, mostly for hauling an atv and dirt/rocks for weekend projects. I do not want the sag like OEM. Thanks in advance fellas.

I did call tuftruck and got some good information. The 1211s have a spring rate of 319 in lbs, the 1223v has a rate of 280 in lbs after the first two inches of OEM rate which they did not know. The 1210s have a spring rate of 258 in lbs.

I do like the 1211s, just too stiff for my needs. They ride great besides this one type of pavement that gives me some wheel hop. I put 200lbs if sand in the bed with no improvement. Hope this helps somebody.

What shocks do you have? Mine never hopped or gave any problems but have Bilstiens shocks.

1211's actually helped with hop on mine, but I have OEM HD Outdoorsman shocks on the rear.

What tires and tire pressure?

Interesting. I have stock size ridge grapplers At about 40psi. I had my worn out stocker for the first week with the 1211s installed with the same result.

Is there anyone with the 1210s? I concern is with the 1223v that even my weekend warrior will squat with a moderate load. I’m hoping for something slightly stiffer and more stable than factory. Again, I haven’t read another thread about anyone having the same issue as me. I’m not picky, there is a very noticeable ride quality difference on certain pavements for me.

Maybe just throw a couple sand bags in there. Cheap, easy fix. I had 1223V springs and determined they were too soft and sagged too much for my needs, especially considering they are already shorter. I ended up going to a locally manufactured spring that is the equivalent of the standard 1223. At first I felt it was too stiff and tall. After about a year, and several seriously heavy loads, the truck handling is very docile again, though still pretty high in the rear.

Thanks for the reply man. I had two hundred pounds of sand with no improvement then an 800 lb atv in the bed with little improvement. It seems my results are different from any that are out there. Not sure if I got a bad set? I checked the obvious stuff and all looks good.

I paid $294 with shipping. They have 500 miles on them. Make an offer.

After doing a bunch of reading, I like you think I am going another route.
