This happened on sept 20th. 2 days ago they told me to make a claim w customer care. Today I get a call about and inspection to happen but no date for that...
30 days and nothing done yet? Getting frustrated...
Missed an entire calif deer season. Now the out of state stuff is about to happen. Still no truck... smh!

UPDATE???
I still have yet to talk to anyone about this problem or a resolution. Stericycle has called me to offer a buy back and pay for a rental car. I'm now on my third rental car! Taking no account for my time, money, loss of income, loss of vacation time.
Not to mention, the shop in redding ca sj deham were a bunch of assholes. They left the truck dismantled after the inspection. I towed it home w the front drive line disconnected, fender wells ripped out of it and got to experience a ****** attitude! Wouldnt even help my driver w a quick tire air check for the 4 hour drive back. Total bs!
I have removed all of my aftermarket parts now. Removal costs? Reinstall costs? The lemon law is bs. All it does is limit fca costs. It certainly doesnt make me whole or at least that is still to be determined. Have someone call me that is going to make a difference in this bs process. I took several more pics too!

Ok so this turned out to be total bs.
First, the lemon law is there to limit liability to the oem not protect you.
The car only had 7000 miles on it and I had to cine up w $4500 to do the swap.
The ram customer service at the redding chry/fiat store and ram cares sucks rhino xxxx (rhymes w lock)!
To add a tin of insult to injury... I pulled all my accessories out of my truck. When I finished, I recharged my power tools. They caught fire and burnt my house down! I'm so livid I'm beside myself! All because of a ram pick up!

How on earth did you have to pay anything on a 2019 with 7k miles on it? That should be completely covered under warranty?

I believe I would just lay down somewhere. The truck part... so what, you got a bad one. Easy enough to replace it, even with another brand.

You are correct about the recall and it’s related to the 68rfe transmission doing this exact thing the OP had the problem with

Am i also correct when i say what sucks about probably all recalls are all the poor ******** that have to go through hell probably without any recourse or compensation, before said recall was issued?

It is like the Chevy trucks gas tanks going on fire they said it was not their fault but the court said hell yes its your fault. The dealer will tell all the time its not covered and hope you fall for the line. Hope they give him a new truck .I can smell a class action brewing on these types of trucks FCA is putting out.

No just investigating if I will really have my stock truck burn up, there are a large number of folks that cant wait to tinker with the truck then something goes wrong and it may seem we all have a problem that in fact someone removed or upgraded a part, it goes wrong and now we all pay the price. simple question, of course he is not going to answer if he did modify it, only will answer if he did not.
My real reason for the question was I was in the middle of a trip with my 14K 5th wheel and did not want to repeat his issue, so if he was towing in 4x4 or using the tow haul gear or jake brake ect.. it would have been nice to know before i started down the Eisenhower Tunnel.
