I use chemical guys detailing, but I was thinking about stepping a notch up and using other chemical guy products. I'm wanting to get into polishing and all that. What are some good products to use?

This is a good one for washes when you dont got much time. Foams great in a cannon and leaves a nice streak free gloss, plus rejuvenates the water beading properties for a little. Good as far as si02 shampoos go8a936c6f895e71f57f960e1807f667d6.jpg1bbc5a0d5f653e59a32153fd59d78a3d.jpg

I guess I should add, do NOT use that product on hot panels or sunlight, if you do it will streak badly, also I have only used it on ceramic coated vehicles so I cant say how it will work on non ceramic paint.

There are some folks that really don't like them. The complaint I've heard is that their products are consumer products at pro-sumer prices. I have used a number of their products and don't really have any complaints about them. I like their Honeydew shampoo for my foam cannon and I currently use their tire gel (I don't love this as much for my A/T tires). For polishing, I am a Meguiars M105/205 all the way (I haven't tried the newer 110/210 versions).

I like some of their products like their interior cleaner InnerClean and their air freshener 'Stripper Scent'. I also like some of their car washes like Meticulous Matte (no glossing agents) and Citrus Strip Wash. Their Microfiber Wash is pretty good too. I don't really care for their waxes/polishes though...I'm a big Menzerna fan when it comes to those.

I have on a non-ceramic coated truck.....would suggest using it on a coated truck, with the non-coated truck it was just like any other wash out of a foam cannon

It smells like a really cheap perfume that you'd smell in a flea market

Wait for their Black Friday sales and get the small bottle for a couple of bucks. That way if you don't like it you aren't out much. I actually like it, as do many. Black Frost is another good one.

Lots of great polishes and compounds out there by lots of manufacturers, the V line from chemical guys is among my favorites. This before and after is only using V36 and two passes, no finishing polish or anything just V36 with medium cut pad, wipe and pic647885a165b82230097030a53820bb2e.jpg37e37e6f7c8cb97e08184da416d58c44.jpg4ea96028e33ff6ab1dbff796f0f88202.jpg
