It's been 10 years since Ram became a stand-alone brand...how do you feel?

It's been 10-years since Ram became a stand-alone brand. The automaker is celebrating the anniversary with a marketing campaign called 'The Power of Innovation'.

But even after ten years, at CarParts.com, we still occasionally find ourselves slipping up, calling late-model trucks "Dodge Rams".

How about you? Do you find yourself making the same mistake, even though it's been ten years since Ram became its own brand? Let us know your thoughts!

It actually irks me when I hear someone calling a new RAM a Dodge. I also dislike using online search features that list makes and don't list RAM, making you have to select Dodge to get to the parts you want. Silly really, but that’s me.

I've been around for a while so it still is and always be a Dodge Ram to me. It's better then calling it a Fiat Ram.
Me too, but I wouldn't care if they did call it Fiat Ram. At least it would be honest. What amuses me is when someone says "yeah I bought me an AMERICAN truck I bought a RAM blah blah blah" or something to that effect. I always think oh you mean the truck owned by Italian corporation that was built in Mexico?
