I have the AMP Research 74804-01A Black BedXTender HD Sport. The reason I went with this one is the shape and spacing of the support brackets fit my needs better. It along with tailgate assist are some of my must have mods. I have foam wrapped around the top section and when extended out over the tailgate it works great for kayaks and other long items. When inside the bed it is out of sight with my Bak MX4. I have the Bed Rug Bed Mat which is about an inch thick and no problems with clearance. I have the 5'7" bed and the Bed Extender gives me about 2 ft of extra bed space.

The great thing is I can load in 2 kayaks, keep the MX4 cover on the truck and still see out rear window.
