My 2017 Ram 1500 2WD STD Cab was ~$700. All trucks are being considered as commercial vehicles now. My liberal neighbor just bought 2019 Laramie 2WD and his registration was over $700. I’m just glad we’re leaving CA in 2020.

In Colorado my first registration on my new 2014 ram was over 800.00 On my new 2017 Cougar TT it was 700.00 That's one reason I can say our state is ruined.
Are you talking about your yearly plate sticker as we call it in Canada? If so,that is ridiculous--because my last year sticker went up to $90 a year from $78 and I was pretty pissed about that. Maybe I cant complain anymore!!

Those are for first year registrations of my pickup and travel trailer. Yes it is a ripoff.

Here in the Great Country of Texas my 2019 Ram Laramie Crewcab 4x4 cost 78.00 my wife's 2018 Grand Cherokee cost 78.00 my 34 foot Rockwood Travel trailer is 75.00 and my 2005 SRT 10 cost 78.00. In California you have a State being run by Socialist liberal Democrats that were voted in by the people of that state and they wonder why California is a **** Hole to live in. I won't even visit California much less live there.

It has gotten as bad as that here in Colorado.

Wow. And to think here in Illinois (not the cheapest state either) we're ******** about rising cost of registration / renewal. Last year it was $101, this year $105.
