What is the best snow brush for pickup trucks. This will be my firs full winter with my truck. I have a Cap on the back and I need to buy a snow brush. And wondered what you use for the ones that get snow. I am expecting 25 cm plus (12 inch) tomorrow.

Weatherpeoples lie...LOL
I have an 52" extendable snow brush, with a scraper on the other end. When the snow gets really deep, I keep a soft bristle push broom in the house to clear the bulk of the snow off the vehicle.

Well, LOL, I kinda drive fast with heat on, oops, forgot, in TX, we get an annual 1-3", that's it. Once in a Blue Moon, get friggin Ice Storm, dang country around here just shuts down, LOL...
When I was up North close to Canadian Border, just used real soft supple brush/broom. Of course scrap and defrost also. Now they do make them Covers U can put on yer windshield now, but I personally never used when I was up by Lake Champlain.....We had no extra $$$$, sometimes did the ole cardboard trip, But I would not do that on an expensive *** Ram Ride...

Foam snow broom. It removes deep snow from the vehicle with ease, but most importantly it will not scratch the paint as bad. Has an ice scraper on the handle for glass. I have a mop handle with thread to connect and clean the roof of my wife’s GMC Acadia from porch.

have used the foam head snow brushes. they do a pretty good job but always, and I do mean,ALWAYS, break off the shaft. One seaon of heavy use, maybe half another season. then, BREAK.

not to mention ed they do not move much snow.
want to know what works? drive by a large new car lot on a heavy snow day.
you will see alot of those brushes because they are cheap but the smart Lot Boys will have a used for snow only, shop push broom.

it takes a bunch of snow weight to break the wooden head off those bad boys

i keep one just inside my garage door, hanging up, for snow use only.
Took it with me, once, in back of truck,, when i headed out of town and Wife was mad as heck, when I got back.now, it just stays home.

do not get cheap when you buy on. do not use it for anything else.keep rocks and debris out of the ristles

I have used a "sno rake" for years. I have a couple and they are older with wood handles, but they don't scratch your finish. Great for reaching up to the roof, hood, and a cap/topper if you have one. They do not "scrape" ice or frozen snow, but they sure work good for snow removal. The head looks like this, but the handles now comes in many styles.

45-50mph does the trick just fine.
this is the worst answer
i have been behind many lazy ********* and have took the brunt of the sheets of ice and snow to my windshield, hood and grill. fortunately its only cost me a cracked grill and a ripped off wiper blade. my coworker, not so lucky, ice sheet from top of suv flew into her windshield, shattered it and into the ditch she went.
someone got the guys plate number on dash cam and he was charged.
it's a chargable offense here to not clear off snow and ice

Echo makes a really good one that is very effective and also fun to use. I recommend the Echo PB-255LN. :)

Haha. I use a stihl ms700 when it's handy. Blows the snow right off. When it's not I look for something telescopic with a head that rotates so I can sweep off the bulk easily, but still be able to pull the stuff I can't reach towards me.
