I 98%solved what I did wrong with my truck in alfaobd... my last favor I ask is if anyone can help me figure out auto headlights again. If the switch is set to auto on, only the DRLs will be on no mater night/day. Even the interior halo light (the one single led above the radio) also all dash lights are dim and unadjustable unless the switch is manually turned to running or headlight)
Did you enable the auto headlamp?084c28843e7432b3237c3b375412b68b.jpg

I apologies for posting the same information again. I came across multiple threads related to the same problem but I could not find similar setting in my BCM.
I have 2014 RAM 1500 Ecodisel (Laramie), I got rear left turn signal out warning and hyper flashing in the dash because couple of LED bulbs are out in the turn signal. I want to disable the DTC checks for the turn signals but I don't see CBC FEATURES-REAR LIGHTING DTC DISABLED in the setting.

FYI - this is the factory BCM, I have not change anything yet.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Attached are the System logs.

So on my brothers truck, he installed some LED lights in his license plate and reverse lights so I changed them to LED with Alfa and it did not seem to make a difference. The EVIC still displays that those lights are out on start up. Has anybody had experience with this?

Probably not. It’s not in the CSM list, which is needed to turn it on and off in the radio settings.

Just a quick note....used AlphaOBD and set my engine hours and mileage on my new 7" EVIC. Also decided to try the global down windows. Works great also.
Will try a few more things later, 31 degrees and was cold in the truck!
Great program guys! And a big thanks to the Big Daddy's House videos that made it so simple!

It works great on my Moto Z4. I believe it is more the version of android than the phone.

I bought a Amazon Fire 7" on sale for $30(normally $50) to run AlfaOBD. I side loaded the Google PlayStore on it, there is directions all over the internet on how to.
It runs AlfaOBD fine and the larger screen makes the text and data easier to read.3c81928297c65647330804f5a8e51ce1.jpg

Sir, I can tell you pretty much any phone will work running KitKat or newer android versions.
I have successfully made changes using an LG Flex from 2012 running KitKat. I'm pretty sure I've talked about this in one of my videos.
So in short yes, Galaxy 10 would be perfectly fine.
But if you're in love with your iPhone and just want to upgrade your iPhone. What everybody else said is correct, just grab a cheap tablet.

Today I got all parts together, installed my new folding power tow mirrors, ready to enable the folding option, I tried to connect with my OBDLink MX+, no go. Step 1, open laptop (win10) i used previously to connect to my Ram 1500 and her Chevy. No go, I can get it to show up on the "paired devices" menu. But will not show "connected" only "paired". So i figure its my laptop, grab my phone... sure same thing I don't see it show up as "connected" only pairied. Anyway, I get the ODBwiz software from there site, sure it connects just fine, use there dashboard feature to see if its working... ok, get the Alpha demo software for my phone. No connection again. So I think about the odbwiz software. Grab laptop again, and download the odbwiz software for Win to the laptop. install, open, and connect. again after registration, i can see rpms and eng temp on the dashboard. Just not on the AlphaOdb.

I come back to house, grab my little portable speaker and turn on, and check laptop, sure it connects, I hear my music playing.

is there some checking between software/hardware that is going on that will not allow OBDLink adapter to the alpha odb? After relax a bit, ( little frustrated) i will head back out again and try it.

Did you try the RESET button on the OBDlink MX?
