I built the trans myself but I’m using copes 4 speed manual valvebody. It’s the one with all 4 speeds on the shifter instead of electric overdrive. It’s an awesome idea and I love driving it, but I’ve had to pull the valvebody and send it back 3 times in the past year and a half for converter lockup issues. Basically I was an earlier customer and unknowingly a test mule for issues. They might have all the bugs worked out now, but I don’t feel cope was up front and honest about a lot of issues it had with the lockup not working right. It’s a little hard to recommend it to people now. I know red truck had way more issues with his and it burnt up his converter, I know he won’t recommend them. Hopefully it’s worked out by now but I don’t know

I believe Red was the first conversion among the trucks. I'm using a Martin Saine 46rh trans and converter. IMO, both are awesome and have been used hard without issues. As for John Cope, he's a deadbeat and owes me for repairs. Having OD on the stick is a great idea. Damn shame CRT couldn't bring it to market. Martin is working on his own design and I hope it will be ready soon.
