A 114 tire load index says the tire is rated for 2601lbs for the tire. A 116 load index rating shows the tire being able to carry 2756lbs for the tire. Nitto TG G2's have 116 load rating for the XL tire.

A 126 load index is rated for 3748lbs. per tire. My next tire my be a General HTS60 XL with a 119 load index 2998lbs. Higher load index rating and a decent tread with a 65k mile warranty. No where near as aggressive as the Nitto G2's, but $50 to $60 cheaper per tire.

General make good tires for the price:waytogo:

Yes they do. My next set could possibly be red letter Generals. 37-12.5/20

I love my truck!
Blue Mule 18 Ram 2500 4x4 C/C Off Road.

I had a set of AT2's on my WJ Grand Cherokee and I was very happy with them. Also I used General Arctic on my VW GTi for my winter setup. Like I said, excellent tire for the money.

Love the look of those red letter Generals.

The Nitto's took care of all my vibration issues so I gave the truck to my daughter and hope to never touch it with a wrench again.

I'm really glad to know that Gary. I've been torn between the 275/65's and the 305/55's
And was leaning toward the Ridge Grapplers which only come in 305 in the 4 ply.
But the 275's in 10 ply are among the lightest out there.
Decisions... decisions.... Aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!:emotions122:

I've gotten the chance to test them on snow and slush more than I'd like this month. Significantly better than the OEM tires, although I understand that's not a high bar.

Much easier to accelerate without tire spin and more sure-footed in turns.

I was concerned they would have more road noise than the OEM tires, but that turned out to be unfounded. I don't hear any road noise at any speed.

The Terra Grappler G2s in the snow are not bad. I felt pretty confident driving with these tires this year. I have noticed that if it is slushy little extra care is needed, but I would expect that with any tire.

My wife hates driving during the winter and dreads having to venture out. She's actually pretty calm when I'm driving and cruising at speed in the snow.

I just put a set on my truck a week ago . So far I like them . I went with the 275-65-20 with the 116 load rating not the 10ply 126. I replaced a 35-12.50-20 BFG with these. I can see by the tread design they should be good in bad weather compared to the GYs. I have not found a bad review and I bet I had read close to a hundred before I bought. The other reason was they measured 34.09" diameter and the BFGs I replaced were 34.5" so not a big difference and these are load rated the same as the OE GYs so they ride much better than the 10 ply BFGS and 20lbs lighter per tire.
How are these holding up? Just ordered the same set of 4 plys

Great so far . Going to get another set for the Black truck this week unless some one has come up with something larger that isn't E rated and 60 some lbs.

Been using them on my pickup for a couple years now. Best tires I've ever had, without any doubt. Snow, rain, mud, sand, you name it. Not to mention they're nearly silent on the road. 10/10

About a year with the tires now and am still very satisfied. I drove a 1700 mile round trip for fall break (we went to multiple cities in a big loop) and they are still quiet, wearing very well, and are sure footed in multiple types of weather.
