I never got around to this last year but now that the weather is turning colder and it's darker earlier it's on my mind again. I bought some Sylvania "xtravision" but now I see Philips Extremevision is what people have been recommending. I can still return the bulbs if these aren't going to be any better than stock.

I have the H13 bulb with one bulb doing both low and high beams. Seems like most of what I read is for the quad set ups. Anyone with experience with these extravision bulbs?

One of the easiest significant upgrade to lights with the 9005 bulb is modifying the HIR1 bulb. It made a significant improvement in my 2017 Ram's headlights (factory projectors) with no relays, resistors, error canceling etc or other wiring. For directions on the modification follow this link https://store.candlepower.com/mohirbuba.html

Quick update, after having the Philips Extremevision and driving both in urban, rural, and highway environments at night:

It didn't look like a huge difference just going by how bright the light pool on the street appeared, but in actual driving it has been a significant difference. Street signs are easier to read, the right edge of the road is visible at a greater distance, etc. They aren't "super bright" but were a decent upgrade and I'm satisfied with the output.
