I am an owner of 2016 Eco diesel Dodge Ram with 14000KM , my engine light came on , with a code P20EE , took it to the dealer , and he informed me, your DEF needs to be replaced , I was shocked , I asked him, why would a DEF be shot at such a low mileage, he has no answer for me , Does anyone know? They are replacing it under warranty!

DEF needs to be replaced? The fluid? LOL Never heard of such a thing unless it's been sitting in your truck for a year.

He said the whole system needed to be replaced?

Hell the system on my 2500 never worked right from the day I purchased it. It's long gone...

P20EE is SCR NOx catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1. There are a number of threads on this code on various Cummins forums. The usual fix is to replace the NOx or SCR catalytic converter. Essentially the ECM is detecting that it is inject the right amount of DEF but the exhaust coming out of the SCR cat has too much NOx in it. IIRC the SCR system is warranted for 8 yrs / 80,000 miles. You are at 86,000 so it looks like you missed the cutoff for warranty.
