I can ask, my father-in-law is a salesperson there. I've seen them in a few of the Edmonton lots too. Express, SXT, and SXT Plus all still come with the 6 speed, he was saying they've been selling a lot of the SXT Plus models lately.

Your father-in-laws name wouldn't happen to be Jim would it,i've bought a few vehicles through them and know most of the staff, lol

Good to know. I was looking at their website but can't see if the console shifter is an option in any of them. I prefer the 6spd as I hate the knob. My 2010 has 150,000km and no issues at all with the tranny.

As far as I know, none of the 19's with the 6 speed have the console shifter unless it was specifically ordered with one.The dealers usually try to keep the sticker price shock to a mininium these days, which means you don't see many later trucks ordered by the dealers ,with the console shifter anymore

It actually would be. Small world!

Wife bought both her last 2 cars through your father-in-law then, lol. I know Jim well enough I try to avoid him and keep out of his site when i'm over there buying parts, otherwise he tries to sell me a new truck,he's actually a pretty decent salesman, lol. He's always trying to get my wife to upgrade her Challenger for a Hellcat,i had to put my foot down on that one, she's hard enough on tires as it is,lol.

Nah fellas, just look up slippery pete pumps, they are under ten bucks and go on either quart or gallon jugs.

Curious are you guys just replacing the fluid in just the pan, or are you also changing it out of the converter as well? I want to change mine but I have a warranty and if they see the fluid is red im going to get voided if there are issues. I refuse to pay the Mopar, or ZF price, and the price to have some one flush it if it can be done easily on a lift.

If maintaining your warrenty is priority, you're pretty well stuck with using the Mopar/ZF 8/9 speed fluid and a Mopar replacement transmission pan.You need a new tranny pan as the filter is part of the pan and is non-replacable in the stock pan.You can do it easily on a lift, the only issue is getting the rear of the truck in the air high enough to level the pan rail.Do a search on here, the instructions for doing an oil change are already posted,or you can hunt up a couple of the youtube video's on the procedure, just be forewarned very few of the video's show lifting the rear to level the pan rail, and it's a pretty important step, otherwise you don't get a proper fluid level check,or all the fluid back into the tranny.
