Hey all. I have been trying to obtain a phone number for SFT with no luck. I sent them an email but nothing.
I basically had 2 questions before i pull the trigger.

1. If i take the truck in for warranty work can i remove the tune and install the stock tune

2. If i do the above will the dealer see a footprint of the SFT tune ??

Way i see it, it will take about 4 years to recoup the $900 for the Engine and Trans tune with the fuel mileage savings.

There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

If you’re having trouble getting a response when trying to buy one is troubling. What happens after you buy from them if you need support?

I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but man, do they ever come up with some great ideas.

Michael,

SFT's support has been outstanding. There are several cases where they have helped computer illiterate customers, step by step, to install their tunes. They have even taken control of the customer's computer to solve problems. Not tune problems but customer computer problems.

I know of cases when a customer had a tune problem or it was throwing a code, SFT was quick to correct the tune.

Why they did not respond to the poster's email I don't know.
I do know if you send to SFT's support email, [email protected] it will automatically return an email acknowledging your inquiry, assign a case number, etc.

The bottom line is SFT's customer response time, support and customer satisfaction attitude has been far, far better than ANY other tuner I have dealt with.

I'm onto their Stage 2 tune now and the customer support has been just plain awesome. Haters are going to hate but damn my Eco runs so sweet with my new Stage 2 "off-road" tune with FloPro straight pipe and TCM tune....this truck is a beast now

You don’t see any tuned ecoDs at the track, I’m sure they can turn some quick 60’ times with a good hook.

Unreturned emails tells you everything you need to know. If they do not respond before the sale, imagine after they have your money.

Please (re)read the original post.
Didn't need to as did that already. Just trying to understand what you were referring to. I didn't want to make an assumption. Thanks for telling me your post #14 was relative to the original post as a lot was discussed in the previous 13 posts.

John it’s quite clear in my opinion where his post is directed. You have a lot of biased opinions of SFT, while you’ve had great experiences with them, that’s not to say someone else won’t have bad experiences with it. No need to let someone’s response affect you personally

Shawn,

First let me react to your post. My responses are not biased, they are only what I know is true.
And, someone else's response doesn't affect me personally, I'm just trying to keep things factually correct. Let me explain why:

1 - The poster's complaint is the first negative
regards SFT (except for the SFT haters)
2 - The poster couldn't figure out the correct
number to call
3 - The poster said his email was not responded
to. I don't know what email address he was
using. I do know that every email I send SFT
gets an automatic reply that they received it
and assigns a case number.
4 - Then there were responders quick to
comment about their suspicions.
I don't know if they are SFT haters or are
just offering caution to the poster. If the
later my intent is to explain why IMO they
need not worry about SFT's integrity.

Last, I don't appreciate your assuming lecture

It wasn’t an assumption because it’s my opinion on my observations of this brand of tune and your posts associated with it. This subsequent post further adds to my point. What you know is true does not make that true for others, which is inherently biased.

-Have you tried GDE and PPEI tunes?
-Have you dealt with their customer service?
-Have you ever offered any opinions tune related other than just regarding SFT?

If the answer is no, you’re biased. I didn’t say that’s wrong to be, but it’s just the fact. You can not appreciate the way this post is, but by finding offense to it? Leads me to believe it’s partly true.

Edit:
I vaguely recall you saying you’ve changed from GDE to SFT and went back to verify that was true. I’m glad you’ve had great luck in your switch over and are happy with your choices.

That still doesn’t change my opinion though that while others can and may have bad experiences with SFT in any way, that you’re very quick to tell them how they are wrong.

This is just my observation and opinion

Wow - Something true is not true for all? Has the definition of true changed?

-Have you tried GDE and PPEI tunes?
Yes, GDE
-Have you dealt with their customer service?
Yes, GDE and PPEI
-Have you ever offered any opinions tune related other than just regarding SFT?
Yes, GDE & PPEI, several times, both positive
and negative on this and other forums
