I just bought a 2019 Big Horn Ram Classic 1500 quad cab. I'm sure the Fox Box from my 2016 Laramie crew cab won't fit. Will it? If not, what should I be looking for in a sub box for the back?

2019 to Present. I have a 2019. It looks like a fourth gen, yes. However it has different systems so it really doesn't fit into either

The classics are 4th gens.. same as all 4th gens. Not 5th gens bud.. If u want real answers this is not your section, you will get much better results in the 4th gen section, which your truck is

Then to ease confusion, the title of this section needs to be renamed. I'll say it again though, it's not the same as an '18 4th gen, but whatever :)

Does anyone know if the Fox Box (two 12's) I had in my 2016 Crew Cab will fit in my 2019 Classic Quad Cab?

Actually the name of the 4th gen section should probably be re titled to 2009-2019. The 2019 classic is definitely a 4th gen in every way, if I posted a picture of a 2017 and a 2019 classic, you wouldn't be able to tell me which one was which (outside of the "classic" badge). Post that same 2017 picture with a 2019 or 2020 non classic, and it's completely different and obvious they are different generations. They kept making the 4th gen and labeled it "classic" to run concurrently with the release of the new body style 5th gen.

Even for ordering parts, you'll be a lot easier off just buying parts for a 2018 rather than potentially getting the wrong parts. Unless I'm missing something here, but you did say you had the classic, right?

Thank you.... my buddy just bought a classic and we installed all my old 2017 ram sport parts that i pulled off b4 i traded for a 5TH GEN. Classics are 4th gens.. ram had way to may 4th gen parts kicking around, so instead of stockpiling old parts the slapped together 2019 4th gen classics and sold them cheap..

I have a19 classic, it's exactly the same as the 18. What exactly are you finding "different systems"?

As they told you in the 5th Gen section. Yes it will. You have a 4th Gen truck. There is no difference there

I'm so glad that everyone wanted to tell me that posting a question about my 2019 truck in the 2019 section was in the wrong section instead of actually answering my question. canadiankodiak70, no one actually answered me there. They were more worried about me asking questions about a 2019 in the 2019 section. Thank you for the real answer

You're welcome! Glad we could clear up that confusion!

If I knew the answer to your question I would answer it, as far as I can tell the only difference between your last truck and new one is it being a QC vs a CC? Can anyone else confirm the box would fit in the QC the same way it did with his CC? I'm not familiar with these fox box's but you might just have to try and see if it works.
