Only by looking at your original configuration and physically changing each setting back to original.

I had mine done at the dealer.... It's basically a reflash of the BCM to what the factory settings were. It helps that I am friends with my mechanic. Much faster than trying to figure out what was set incorrectly.

I found this in a search: https://w06.dealerconnect.chrysler.com/parts/keycode/policypdf/en_US/Key_Code_Policy_en_US.pdf

SEE FOURTH BULLET POINT DOWN. This is straight off FCA DealerConnect

Also pasted below:

Access to vehicle key codes is a necessity for dealers to service their customers and repair vehicles. However it is important to understand that a key code is sensitive information that dealers must protect. The dealership assumes full responsibility for
key code information and agrees to use key code information received from FCA US in a lawful manner and consistent with this Dealer Policy Manual as follows:

Dealers must limit the number of employees with access to the key code application to only those employees having a business need for the information such as service technicians, parts advisors, managers of these departments, and dealer
management. It is the responsibility of the dealer to monitor and update this access as needed.

Key codes must only be used by the dealership for the purpose of servicing vehicles and customers. Key codes must not
be provided to outside entities, including but not limited to locksmiths or repossession companies unless required by court order.
(Please note FCA US allows qualified third parties access to key code information
via Tech Authority).

For all Service Repair Authorization Pin requests, the customer’s information and technician’s name and/or identification number must be documented on the Repair Order.

For all non-Service Repair Authorization Pin requests, each dealership must verify the vehicle ownership by personally reviewing:
The vehicle owner’s government issued picture ID (Driver’s License)
The vehicle's registration or other proof of ownership. Please
note that vehicle registration should have normal markings from the State or Province
that issued the registration.

FCA US
reserves the right to limit and audit dealer requests for key codes.
Violations and non-compliance may result in the loss of key code access.

Is this the samde code to change our TPMS threshold?

Has anyone used the OBD2 bluetooth dongle from Walmart? I need to make changes with the app by Monday and can't get a obdLink in time.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Autel-HT...CAN-Bluetooth-All-Systems-Scan-Tool/964022238

answer no it wont work

he parts stores were closed so I check walmart out. They have a Hyper Tough OBD2 BT scan tool. The only one in stock. So I buy it and head to an empty parking lot. Purchase ALFA OBD and it won't pair to the app but will pair to my phone. So figure the BT dongle is not supported, but it was my only shot. I proceed to read the packaging and on the back it says what it can reset. Oil life, other stuff, DPF. Hmm.. So I download their app HT200
https://www.jeepgarage.org/threads/...2-can-bluetooth-all-systems-scan-tool.219901/

sounds like autel is using a proprietary format and NOT ELM327 - the "normal" and only supported format
Autel is a REPUTABLE company and makes "PROFESSIONAL" scan tools - and I would expect this to be a "good" solution with its OWN software - that INCLUDES ONE car with purchase

CheechDogg...yes that is the PIN number you need for the TPMS so you can re-set your RFH, it has 4 digits. The common problem is the misconceptions of many dealer service/part departments over this PIN since there are 2 PINS for your truck. One is called a KEY CODE and the other is called a ROLLING CODE. Many dealers intermingle which one is which. This becomes even more exacerbated since FCA has 2 different polices on releasing the 2 PINS. The FCA policy is different for them. Confusing? Yes. See posts 4156 and 4157 here:

WOW ! lol ... I just got back from the dealership in hopes of getting my PIN number to change my TPMS pressure and re-set the RFH.

I got there about 11:00 and just barely hot home and it is only 5 minutes away. First some guy told me to go to the parts department and ask them ... that guy didn't even know what I was talking about, so he sends me to service ... there some ********* Alfred wanted me to bring my truck up so he could scan it and give me my PIN. ... I was like why do you need to scan it, he says "you want your PIN right? that is the only way I can give you what you want" .... this with an attitude and being demanding ! lol

I told him he "WAS NOT" going to scan my truck and that all I wanted was my PIN which belongs to me anyways.

He said that if I didn't allow him to scan my truck that he wasn't going to give me my PIN .....I told him that he didn't need to scan my truck to give me my PIN number .... that all he needed was my registration and proof that I was the person on that registration ... He said he can't help me .. so I said to him ... "Are you refusing to give me my PIN? Just answer me yes or no" he then said he wasn't refusing but that he needed to scan my truck so that he can make the changes ...

I then said to him that I was not going to allow him to scan my truck and that I wanted to speak to the manager .. he told me that customers can not talk to the manager and that I needed to contact Chrysler, I asked him for his name and his Managers name and walked out ...

On my way out I saw another guy dressed up a bit more and I said "excuse me but who is the service department manager" he said "I am" ... So I said you are actually the person I wanted to talk to ... told him what happened ...he asked me for my registration and said he would be back ...

He comes back out and hands me a sticky with some numbers and told me that it expires in 24 hours ... LOL ARE YOU SERIOUS !

I told him that is not what I want and he said "you wanted to change your tpms pressure correct? well thats what you need" and I mean he said this to me with an attitude and just completely rude ...

I took the sticky and walked away ... on my way to my truck I saw a salemans and asked him if the dealership manager was there ... he said yes and I told asked if I could "please" talk with him ..

I waited 2 minutes and the General Manager of the dealership came out ... asked me for my name and asked if he could help me ... I then told him what happened explained to him what I needed and he said ok lets go over and talk to Martin who is the service manager ...

He confronted the service manager and asked him if he was rude with me ..he told him that all he did was give me what I wanted and I told him that is not what I wanted ...that what i wanted was the PIN to reset my rf hub not a rolling pin that expires in 24 hours ...

The GM then told him to give me the correct PIN and to make sure he took down my information and to confirm that I was the owner ... I waited for about 40 minutes and finally the service manager came out and handed me a printout that said "Key Code Inquiry Results" with my VIN #, Ignition code and PIN # ....

So from the looks of it and some videos I have seen on youtube the printout I got matches what they gave me ...

OH ! did I mention that they wanted $65 and I told him that I was not going to pay for something that belongs to me already and if he didn't hand me my print out I was going to go back to the GM ? lol ..

So now another question ... what else will I need this PIN for besides changing my TPMS thresholds and KEY Fobs ?

Just an FYI - if you want your PIN, go to the *parts desk*. Not service.

I think it took me longer to get my paperwork out of my glove compartment than it did for the parts guy to hand me my PIN.

If the parts desk doesnt know, next dealer up!

Any others near you?

You can always go the PIN puller app route, on Google Play store. The app is free, you do an in-app purchase for a credit to pull the PIN. $15 I think for the credit.

THAT IS SOME STORY! What happened to you was exactly what I had wrote about in those prior posts I had referenced. The PIN for the RFH is needed for any mods that you may make where changes are made to the BCM and those changes are also needed in the RFH hub. Besides TPMS and adding keys, you would need it if you went from key start to pushbutton start so you can set "FOBIK SAFE" which is what prevents you from locking your Fobik in the vehicle. I am sure there are more.....

Speaking of PINs, I just noticed this today. Maybe it's been there all along and not the right PIn but I had never noticed it before.. I already have my PIN but might be worth a try for someone that doesn't (or if someone can chime in that it's the correct PIN or not?)

I never noticed that before either.

Im pretty sure someone asked the dev to add it, but he said he preferred not to for security reasons (once you have the PIN you can make keys for a truck, even if its not yours .....)

Maybe he changed his mind at some point?

Next time Im in my truck Ill give it a try

I used the app and it quick and flawless. If you’re like me that I hate having to ask anybody for anything especially over the phone (with current work schedule would’ve never gone to the dealer), the 15 bucks is well worth it.
